I've looked into it and really the biggest problem is the app store guidelines for publishing stuff. Also it's still not possible to produce a freestanding stack all on the phone because... reasons. You can get godot for ipad though.

I'm not as mad that people are using AI to do it as there should have already been a better way that was native to the phone. But alas, Apple/Google really don't want people building weird little apps on the phone.

People need weird little apps that do dumb stuff like these. Also I don't think we need to boil the oceans to do it. Ye olde hypercard was a great way to build stuff that was simple, easy to use and easy to extend. It's the one thing Apple/Google has failed to deliver us in mobile form.

When my father was faculty at Cornell he was stopped by the police chief in the street & asked who he was & where he was going. When he balked at the fact that no one but him, an Arab man, was being asked, the chief said “I’m just protecting students” Same guy failed to investigate 7 rapists.
