Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 23/09/2026This is how the app has looked for me since I switched to a Pixel 11 last month. The following menu gets rendered way too low and blocks some of the intended functionality 100
Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 16/09/2026I accidentally read this as Mwaha and now I'm going to think of an evil laugh every time I see MAHA going forward because it fits too nicely 010
Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 09/09/2026Maybe they think people just want a piggyback ride from a robot 😆 010
Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 31/07/2026Eh, Vegas at least is usually a dry heat. I'd take a dry 110 over 90s plus high humidity any day. 010
Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 18/07/2026I started writing a joke about Narcissus, and upon reflection, I think I love this joke so much. 031
Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 14/07/2026My brother in law (born in Scotland and raised in England) absolutely hates Argentina and has been railing against Argentina every time they've played this Cup. Anecdotal, but at least one datum in favor of it. 010

Assuring social security as a program is one of those things. 0165
Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 31/05/2026At first, I thought it was depicting most of the US underwater, almost as if it looked like an archipelago and that the mapping software was having a stroke. 😆 010
Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 27/05/2026We got a Tin Can for my kids, my parents, and my sister's family got so my kids who have no cell phones can call their cousins and grandparents on VOIP "landlines". No screen, and I can limit who calls in/out 010
Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 24/05/2026No, actually. Cigna as the carrier and Sharp Rees-Steely for medical group. 100
Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 24/05/2026Within our medical group, they make you first complete a standard nutrition program (several months long) before they'll even consider writing a GLP scrip for you. They think that obesity is just a matter of exercising willpower and self discipline. I haven't had anyone push them on me. 210

Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 02/04/2026I migrated my RSS feeds over to Feedly and have been using it happily for the last several years 020
Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 23/03/2026I believe it has to do with specific funds that were allocated to ICE in the OBBBA, as opposed to the annual budgeting. 130

Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 03/02/2026It was a pleasure to get to meet with my Congresswoman @sarajacobs.house.gov last week. I was representing the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors #NAIFA. She and her team were very open to learning more about how we protect and educate members of our community. 000
Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 23/12/2025My naive high school mind thought absinthe (green-colored) would taste like Midori melon liqueur. 010
Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 23/12/2025The Moulin Rouge movie made me interested in absinthe until I learned it was an anise-flavored cocktail 110

Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 07/11/2025So what happened when he brought up the terms of the deal and she had violated them? How did she avoid a default on the contract? 110
Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 06/11/2025It's likely in reference to the Kristi Noem video for TSA blaming the shutdown and delays on Democrats 100
Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 05/11/2025Now how do you make the joke even better by incorporating Newsom into it? 000
Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 12/10/2025And also a lot fewer potentially places for mechanical failure than in 2007! 120
Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 07/10/2025I watched Interstellar 5555 with my kids about 2 weeks ago, and they've been asking for songs from the Discovery album ever since 000
Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 27/09/2025Hot take: The newish microphones (most are Bluetooth) that are so small that they barely fit in your fingers look really dumb to have to talk into. It looks far more natural to use clip-on microphones or a larger handheld. 020
Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 17/09/2025Did your kids ask Alexa to play the song "What does the Fox [News] say?" 110
Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 17/09/2025I think you've got the underpinnings of a book here in this thread! 050
Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 21/07/2025Yeah, I've been seeing highlights of them show up on Instagram for me for a few years. So I'm gonna see them when they come to SD this September. Their game has a very different rule set than classic baseball and it's much more about entertainment. Think Harlem Globetrotters for baseball 010
Tostie @tostie.bsky.social · 15/07/2025Unfortunately I don't think they are on Bluesky, just the other place 100
