Jo. Det synes jeg, der er, fordi man generaliserer blå blok på en underlig måde. De Konservative adskiller sig fra stort set alle de andre blå partier.

Beskæftigelsen stiger faktisk støt - trods snak om at begrænse import af arbejdskraft. Hvis der mangler arbejdskraft, vil det faktisk alt andet lige styrke stigningen i arbejdernes løn. Fra et økonomisk synspunkt giver det ikke mening at begrænse import af arbejdskraft...

Lindsey Graham is supposed to be the leading pro-NATO US senator. If anyone across the Atlantic still believes the United States has any goodwill left i Europe are sorely mistaken. The transatlantic friendship is dead. Best case scenario after 2028 is some kind of marriage of convenience.

Graham completely unloaded on both prime ministers. The gist, according to two people in the room, was that if President Trump wanted Greenland, he’d take it, and there wasn’t much they could do about it. They would just have to hand over the Arctic island and deal with it. “Lots of F-bombs,” said one person in attendance. “Picture Graham on his worst TV day,” said one source familiar. According to a third source, he was quite “combative.”

Excellent summary of the state of the North Atlantic alliance and the future of "the West".

A future US administration may seek to mend the relationship with Europe and Canada, but NATO, as it has existed to date, is unlikely to be recoverable. The center of gravity of the West, as a community bound by shared security and political values, has moved away from the US to a wider Europe. The end of the old US-led West has been approaching gradually for months; now, suddenly, it is here.

Ordningen var fra 1970'erne politisk omstridt. Den blev suspenderet i 1983 og afskaffet endeligt i 1987 som led i bekæmpelse af inflationen.

Frederik has completed extensive military studies and training in all three services, including training as a frogman in the naval elite special operations forces Frømandskorpset. It was there that he earned the nickname "Pingo", when his wetsuit filled with water and he was forced to waddle like a penguin.

In 2001 and 2002, he completed further leadership training at the Royal Danish Defence College. Frederik remained active in the defence services, and in the period 2002–2003 served as a staff officer at Defence Command Denmark, and from 2003 as a senior lecturer with the Institute of Strategy at the Royal Danish Defence College.

Vi har brug for eksperter med en smule mere forestillingsevne. Jeg synes ikke, det er svært at forestille sig en militæraktion, der skal "beskytte det klare flertal af den grønlandske befolkning, der ønsker at gøre sig fri af den danske undertrykkelse."

Niels Bjerre-Poulsen er lektor på Center for Amerikanske Studier på Syddansk Universitet ser det som utænkeligt, at USA kunne finde på at lave en militæraktion mod Grønland såsom i Venezuela.

- Hvad skulle det formelle argument være for en invasion i Grønland? Var der en person, man ville kidnappe og hente ud? Det er ikke rigtigt til at forestille sig den situation, vil jeg sige.

The final bill blocks the Pentagon from reducing the number of troops permanently stationed or deployed to Europe below 76,000 for longer than 45 days until Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and the head of U.S. European Command certify to Congress that doing so is in U.S. national security interests and that NATO allies were consulted. They would also need to provide assessments of that decision’s impact.

The legislation applies the same conditions to restrict the U.S. from vacating the role of NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander in Europe,

The West is gone. @rikefranke.bsky.social tells it like it is. It is time to formally ask the United States to withdraw its forces from Europe - and every country needs to prioritize fighting the US and Russian campaigns to destabilize Europe.

The transatlantic relationship as we know it is over. Yes, we kinda knew this. But this is now official US White House policy. Not a sppech, not a statement. The West as it used to be no longer exists.

It may only be a minority that actively supports giving territory to Russia, but pool it with the people who do not care - and the conclusion is clear: supporting Ukraine is a minority opinion in the US. A reality check for us in Europe, but European security is not a priority for the US public.
