Sometimes when I'm feeling extra spicy I make choices for characters based on what makes the most sense given that character's concept, rather than whatever's the most efficient or powerful.

YouTubers: You don't understand, if I don't use AI-generated art, my thumbnails won't look good and stand out and nobody will click on them! Result: a significant chunk of YouTube thumbnails now look exactly the same and the ones that "stand out" are the ones made by humans.

I've been watching lots of Project Zomboid videos/gameplay in prep for eventually getting it if it happens to go on sale while I have some money. I like a *lot* of things about it - it seems like the kind of survival gameplay I will enjoy - but I think I'm most impressed by how it sets expectations.

I sure hope SB19’s audio sounded better to the Lollapalooza audience than it did on the livestream. Their mics sounded as if they were turned way down and full of static. It’s bizarre because the audio for the previous artist sounded pristine.

20 years and I still have trouble wrapping my brain around the way some people play City of Heroes. You don't give a character a particular powerset because of how efficient it is, or how it compares to other sets. You give them a powerset because *those are the powers that character would have.*
