Can anyone recommend a good animated GIF creator app for Mac or iPad? (I’d prefer a local app to an upload service.) And not a “turn video clips into GIFs,” “make GIF memes,” slop thing … An actual app where you can build a gif out of art assets, edit a timeline, set export parameters, etc. Thanks!

Been feeling dejected lately. We’ve been pushed into a system where creators must be independent, self-starters, self-managers, self-promoters. But at the same time every service, public and private, is being degraded, enshittified, or terminated. I hope things improve but it’s hard to feel great :(

Finally got to see FORGOTTEN ISLAND. The pacing was a bit frenetic for my aged eyes, but the story and relationships really came together for me by the end. And I love seeing stories told thru the lens of other cultures, so that was great. I’ll give it four out of five needy weredogs. 🐕 🐕 🐕 🐕 ⬛️

Okay, I’ve been using Vistaprint for years with no problem, but my last batch of bizcards came back terrible, half of them printed and cut at a skewed angle, and now I see they’re running submissions thru AI. Who can suggest some good alternate bulk bizcard and sundry printers out there? ^.^
