Our tool shipment has reached Prisoners Future Foundation in Zambia! This will help support our hands-on training programmes, giving inmates the chance to learn practical skills to improve their opportunities for successful reintegration into society upon release.

Packaged boxes of refurbished tools and sewing machines, all arrived safely for 50 inmates in vocational skills at Mumbwa Correctional Facility by Prisoners' Future Foundation (PFF) in Zambia.

I was in Malawi recently, where I met Brenda, the trainer leading a brand new women’s painting and decorating course with our partner FESODEV. The new course is about more than learning practical skills, it’s about opportunity, and women supporting women to build independent futures.

We loaded a 40-foot container bound for Zambia from Southampton today 🚢 Inside: Bikes, 4,000+ refurbished tools and 100 sewing machines, all restored by our amazing UK volunteers. Rising global shipping costs made this a challenge, but thanks to our supporters, this vital shipment is on its way 🙌

Update from our partners in Uganda, TA Crusade. All staff and trainees are safe and well. Troops still patrolling the streets, but things are now calmer, & have been able to get back online. Trainees were sent home a week ago, in case of problems & now returned with training due to start today.
