The BBC has seriously backed the wrong horse In relentlessly platforming Reform over the last few years. Suspect it will have been proved to have been on the wrong side of history.

It looks like what will happen now is that the Right Wing media in Britain (Murdoch and Co) will now throw their weight behind Badenoch, having realised that Farage is a busted flush.

Tory £6bn inheritance tax cut plan Increase threshold from £1m per couple to £2m+home. In 2024-25, 30,400 estates paid IHT, may rise to 52,100 in 2029-30. IHT cut for the richest, paid by cutting benefits for old, sick, disabled, unemployed. How will it help economic growth, reindustrialization?

Companies pay employer national insurance (ENI) on director pay. Partners in limited liability partnerships (LLPs) share profit, instead of salary. LLPs don't pay ENI on that. £150k ENI for every £1m of profit shared is avoided. Big four law firms alone avoided paying £4bn. Must end this perk.

BBC’s coverage of Reform’s welfare plans is frankly bizarre. Headlines in Ten, leading on some radio networks. Reform are not even the official opposition and the plans have less credibility than Count Binface. Will BBC News do the same for Lib Dem and Greens policy two years out from an election?
