Finally putting pen to paper ahead of November's #grogmeet. Work gathers pace on my #morkBorg powered #WFRP adventure.

+1 for sevens. Games are last about an hour, easier to manage 7 rather than 11 players. I've mulled over doing a mini tournament for Grogmeet before... maybe 2027.

It's Sunny Dunny 7s at the weekend and we're playing Beach Bowl. So I went with a team I've been meaning to paint for a while. I've a deadline to meet - but only 7 models, so it's more manageable. So here are 7 almost table-ready Blood Bowl Amazons. #bloodbowl

7 bloodbowl Amazons- 2 blockers, 2 blitzers and 3 linos. Purple, gold, white & black.

Archive is such a great resource. Found the excellent film Went the Day Well.

Loving the square base and it's finish. I've been mulling over a return to corners.

Agreed. And it's a beautiful boat.

Run #morkBorg 2 weeks in a row: Tonight @embraboffin.bsky.social, @saoralbin.bsky.social, Alec & Ian narrowly avoid a TPK before taking on Captain Meat and cooking his goose!

Sharks assemble! Bloodbowl 7s team ready for #sunnyDunny7s #beachbowl tournament later this month.

Is it the GW team? Possibly the most fiddly set of miniatures ever to assemble... in the end I threw away the tiny greave blades and filled in the slots with greenstuff.

Next to Bloodbowl, the best boardgame GW ever published. Desperately needs a reprint. Though my brother in law has been 3d printing a full set (and tiles). I've laid some heavy hints but he's refusing to take note.

Loved the megadungeon pod. Shame there hasn't been a new ep for three years. Not heard of the others bar the last (and best). Will take a plunge.

Don't remember the scene where Rocky stops to vomit into a hedgerow. 😆

But there is! 29 days to go! Really must paint my team... 😂

Ah yes... Leaning back, post gaming, slipping into a sugar coma, surveying the scattered empty wrappers and crumbs... "listen lads, NEXT week we have to bring carrot sticks."

Painting is my least favourite part of the hobby. Playing 7s, so less work, makes it bearable!

Took my 15yr old son to see a 70mm print of it at the Edinburgh Filmhouse: He loved it, despite the 'old person grainy picture'. Definitely a child of the digital age.

When you do your coffee table book, are you going to leave the accompanying descriptions short & intriguing? Or expand them into a richer narrative?
