Biggest issue with paid DM'ing is that you either have to charge an arms and a legs worth per/person OR run so many games that the games are soulless cookie cutter BS I ran the math and although I would like to try it at some point, the math aint mathing, I dont care for cookie cutter content :c

StoryQuest is interactive serial fiction with a community vote built in. Short instalment. Real decision. Audience votes. You write the consequence. Repeat The bit that makes it work: the audience isn't reading a finished story. They're building it in real time and they know you're reacting to them

I'm looking at fleshing out StoryQuest into something that is publishable and something people can create short Zines for. Out of everything, I think artwork will be the hardest to nail, as I'll be doing this out of pocket. No launch dates promised, still so much work to be done. What is it?

How did you find the players got on with it? I saw some trusted feedback that you need to be able to depend on the players to be able to control the narrative and think on their feet, kind of put a bit more stress on it then I'd like

I've got an awesome frame work and story for the first season of a 6 part D&D campaign, but been in so much pain from a back injury I've been unable to focus on work on anything for the past few days 🫠 Finally got some proper drugs to help with pain that's likely related to nerves, so can get on!

I worked with this data, it has its issues but not because of what you've said. It's because people don't always announce their subs, which then means it doesn't get logged. An example of the difference is Kaicenats subscriber count being 10k more then what Streams Charts recorded

For #3 there are close estimations based off of chatlogs Streams Charts does exactly that, it's not 1:1, and won't ever be due to what you've said, but for gathering the top amounts it's possible to do and also reach out to verify

:') I reduced my trees to clumps and hills to clumps/spattered, doesn't feel or look as good, but it allowed me to get work done I still have a mass of land to sort out (a lot...) but as I'm not running anything there currently it's ok >~> Trying to figure out biomes messes with my head a little
