I've got an awesome frame work and story for the first season of a 6 part D&D campaign, but been in so much pain from a back injury I've been unable to focus on work on anything for the past few days 🫠 Finally got some proper drugs to help with pain that's likely related to nerves, so can get on!

Running a rather large encounter, utilising done of the best designed monsters by @hellomcdm.bsky.social 🫡 The Kingfissure Worn is scary The fight already had a multistage boss, the worms were a side thing, youngling worms got killed and each time triggered a chance for Mother to show up She did.

The centrepiece of the battle is a massive Kingfissure Worm, a colossal worm-like creature covered in rows of spikes. Its most distinctive feature is its gaping maw, surrounded by three massive, lashing tongues. The worm is encircled by a glowing pink magical effect with intricate patterns. Several character tokens are visible: one near the worm, others scattered across the map, appearing to engage in combat or positioning strategically.
