Our recent open access review has been published in Coordination Chemistry Research. We discuss how the dynamic nature of coordination bonds at the molecular scale plays a pivotal role in soft materials behavior. Hope you enjoy reading it! doi.org/10.1016/j.co...

Coordinative Guest Recognition Triggers Macroscale Deformation of Covalently Linked Metal–Organic Polyhedra Polymer Gels
Molecular recognition plays a central role in supramolecular chemistry. The concept of molecular recognition initially emerged from discrete molecular systems and has now been expanded to solid-state ...

MOPEG gel appeared in @jacs.acspublications.org!! The MOP gel, covalently linked by PEG, affords free coordination sites that recognize guest molecules, and changes its size and mechanical properties. Great work by Tomoki Tateishi @tomokitateishi.bsky.social!! pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/...

Molecular recognition plays a central role in supramolecular chemistry. The concept of molecular recognition initially emerged from discrete molecular systems and has nowadays been expanded to solid-state soft materials; however, there remains a lack of ...
