Newsom (and Bonta) is a corporate Democrats. Full stop. He lost my vote when NEM 3.0 happened along with his moves to support more oil drilling. Those of us in the environmental movement have our work cut out for us as we face a new governor next year.

The frustration in yesterday’s Sierra Club ECC meeting was clear. Why can’t they quickly dissemble the battery? If we have any chance of getting Beccerra on our side, we don’t need setbacks like this. He is pro fossil fuels.

It did. There is resistance to battery installations as a result. It’s a challenge to convey the type of battery at this location is old tech and no longer used. We talked about this on the Sierra Club California Energy & Climate weekly meeting yesterday. Horrible timing for shifting our next gov.
