#CFB Boise State, SMU, and Alabama can still be knocked out of the playoffs. If Boise loses to UNLV, UNLV simply takes their spot (with a lower seed, 12th seed). If SMU loses, they could drop ahead of or behind Alabama. If ahead, Alabama drops out. If behind, SMU drops out. I think SMU wins though.

The guy spend a chunk of his childhood in an internment camp because our government thought he might be dangerous because he was of Japanese descent. He was also gay when you were forced to hide it. It’s been much worse for a lot of people in our history. George knows what he’s talking about.

Whatever you think about the merits of cutting program X or department Y, the fact remains that the 🇺🇸 can borrow in ~unlimited quantities at a <real> interest rate of <checks notes> <2%. If you really want to run the government like a business, it would be <madness> not to take advantage of that.

I quit Twitter almost 2 years ago? I joined Bluesky last week and it's definitely better. One criticism though is the "choir" effect. No, I don't mean "echo" effect, but the effect of the most frequent posters simply preaching (posting) to their choir That does get boring Diversify
