Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 28/05/2026(1) I know it's not fair, but I really can't help but resent Harry Potter's popularity. Now, this is a case where I definitely feel like I'm heavily biased here because I didn't grow up with Harry Potter. While I've always been a huge bookworm, I never read the Harry Potter books before I turned 20 110

Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 26/02/2026You know, it's really interesting comparing the reactions to the Netflix Avatar: The Last Airbender show to people who have also seen Disney+'s Percy Jackson show. 100

Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 07/02/2026Guys, after seeing these numbers for Week Five of Season 2 of the Percy Jackson show (AKA the week where Episode 6 of Season 2 premiered), I'm legitimately nervous.... Please let us get Seasons 4 and 5... 000
Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 26/01/2026The amount of glazing the Percy Jackson movies are getting by fans upset by the show is legitimately baffling. 000

Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 21/01/2026The Season 2 Finale was cramped but still enjoyable. Massive improvement over the first season. Give us Season 4 and 5, Disney! Please! 000
Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 14/01/2026Bit mixed on some of the changes in the new Percy Jackson episode, but I still really enjoyed it. 000
Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 07/01/2026Oh man, the new Percy Jackson episode was so good! Some of Walker Scobell's best work in the series so far! 000

Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 13/12/2025What do you do when you’re overwhelmed by money problems but they’re incredibly petty money problems? 000
Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 11/12/2025I don't know how to feel about the Percy Jackson Season 2 premiere. On the one hand, I loved it, and I'm really excited to see where it goes. On the other hand, it is VASTLY different from the book compared to how Season 1 was. 000
Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 20/11/2025Have you ever read a book that feels like it was tailor-made just for you? "Beasties" by Peter Lerangis is that book for me. It's got almost everything I want in a fun animal transformation story. Curious to see if he'll do a sequel eventually. I hope he does. 000
Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 19/11/2025Why is it so hard to find good books focused around humans turning into animals? Every single time I try to search it up, I just get a barrage of results that's mostly Animorphs! And that's not really what I'm looking for! I only found one "Human to Animal" book recently by complete accident! 010
Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 29/10/2025Playing Fire Emblem Awakening several years too late, and it's been pretty fun! 000
Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 22/10/20251) You know...it's been several months since I played The Last of Us Part 2, and I still can't wrap my head around it at certain points. For a game that has a simple point, "revenge is bad," its biggest issue, IMHO, is that it doesn't commit to anything because it wants to cover everything, which 100
Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 19/10/2025You know a book is good when you spend two hours pacing outside in the dark to finish the audiobook version of it. In other words, Dragonborn by Struan Murray is awesome! 100
Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 10/07/2025I hate it when I have a good day and then I see something that causes me to spiral... Why the fuck did I have to anexity attack in the middle of the night when my therpist and most of my friends are asleep! WHY!!!!? 000
Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 09/07/2025Finished reading Transformers Issue 22 from the Energon Universe. Why Cliffjumper!? WHY!? 000
Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 07/07/2025I really hate how I have to sugarcoat some of my feelings towards certain media because I might piss off a few butthurt fans of it. 000
Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 30/06/2025Why is it I never have the inclination to post on any social media every day? 000
Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 27/06/2025Please tell me I'm not the only one who finds it weird. Pinkie is never called out on for hogging all the cider in that one My Little Pony episode, and it's never addressed in any capacity later on in the episode. Is it just me? 000
Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 26/06/2025Recently I've been going on a Disney watch list and catching up on all the various Disney movies I have yet to watch. I should probably do a thread talking about my thoughts on the other movies I've been watching recently but for right now, I'm gonna stick to the most recent one I watched and 1/6 100
Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 22/06/2025I'm very frustrated right now. There's a friend I know who wants to bring his series to life with artwork, but neither of us has the funds to commission anyone right now. I'm not even sure who we'd even commission. Really wish I had a spare 200 dollars right now... 110
Tomhur @tomhur.bsky.social · 15/06/2025(Sigh) I just realized a lot of the teens right now are never gonna know what it was like to be there back in the day when My Little Pony Friendship is Magic came out in 2010... It's an odd feeling... 000
