We are doing stuff, just not much of it is on Bluesky

Tom Roud @tomforccc.bsky.social · 25/09/2025

Hello Bluesky! I really do not use this website much, but here's the second leaflet we put in basically every letterbox in the ward. It's ambitious, not all of it can be achieved with a single council seat in one small city in at the bottom of the world.

Never done an event like this before. No one warns you how much you get sick of your own face & voice on the campaign trail!

Really looking forward to this! I know @spaceacademy.bsky.social have been very ethically bailing on the website formerly known as twitter, Instagram, and Facebook - but I hope you won't mind me sharing the poster around <3

I believe they're rapping "Get Your Votes Out" This'll be a fun one! Come along to a bit of entertainment right in the middle of a busy campaign season. www.tomroudforcouncil.org/shop/p/kneec...

What an awesome launch, and what fantastic pictures from my friend Marcela! 90-100 through the door, and while some of that was probably for the best line up of musicians on July 4th in the whole city... I am totally honoured and humbled by the support I've received so far.

It's bumper sticker day! You're now allowed to have these on your car until October 10th.

Absolutely thrilled with that launch event, and can't wait to hit the ground running! Thanks so much to everyone who has supported so far. It'll be a long road, but there is a path to victory - and it'll take a whole lot of help from a whole lot of people. I'd be honoured if you'd join me.

Do you use Reddit? I've not much... But the /chch and /nzpolitics subreddits are active and have high levels of engagement. I'm trying to decide about an AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Saturday morning, while en route to Oamaru. Let me know! www.reddit.com/r/chch/comme...

Tom Roud is running for Christchurch City! He backs the Ōtautahi music scene and is hosting a gig right here at Space Academy with a meet and greet, and a line up of some of his favourite Ōtautahi acts: Pickle Darling, This Dog, and The Eastern! 4/7 - tīkiti: www.undertheradar.co.nz/gig/96609/To...

I'm still not much into using this particular corner of social media, but because you can get a whole 3 minute video onto Blue Sky - please enjoy! Me & ECan Councillor Greg Byrnes talking about Fred Cooke.
