Sorry peeps, but I'm cancelling stream today. My stomach started acting up like, 15 minutes before I was about to go live, and it's not settling down. So I don't really have the energy to chat for 3 hours straight. Hopefully we'll be back next week. New video will still be out this week though.

Unless you are unaware, I do like those Vtubers. Sorry it wasn't obvious by the giant, Hololive Desk mat, that features in tons of my videos. Mint Fantome is easily one of my favourite indie Vtubers. She is an old school otaku, freak. She is amazing! So I bought a gigantic plush of her.

Probably no stream this week peeps. I an already feel a cold coming on, my throat is really scratchy. Don't wanna make it worse by talking for 3 hours straight. Gonna spend the week working on a ton of videos. Should be back next with with a stream and a video.

Feel very sad at the news that Enter Shikari will be taking an indefinite hiatus from 2028. A band I've loved since I was 14 years old, probably the band I've seen the most times live. It'll be bitter sweet seeing them live again in just over a months time. Hopefully this isn't completely the end.

Tomerey @tomerey.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Enter Shikari is my favorite band of all time I’ve listened to them since I was 12, seen their highs & lows, seen them live endlessly and their logo was my first tattoo. I get why they’re stepping back, Rou seems exhausted by the world. Even if they never return, they had a really good run.

Don't know who in the community gave Logan Paul the "Welcome" to shiny hunt. But I promise, it wasn't fucking me. Love the irony of him calling people "Larpers", by them telling him to hunt, locked Pokémon.

I missed out on the initial preorders for the Steam Controller. So I signed up to the wait-list and was estimated to get one by early 2027. Well I got an email to buy on Monday and here it is! It's so good to use, I love the Steam Deck controls, and it's basically the same.

Ocarina of Time comes out the day after I get to Japan! So I ordered it on Amazon Japan, to be delivered to a locker near my Airbnb. Avoids me trying to find it at stores, cause I feel it's gonna be sold out. Plus I still get the foil cover. It's also £20 cheaper than in the UK.

Nintendo Direct was pretty decent. Not much I was super interested in, but lots of pretty cool stuff still. A little bit for everyone as well, nice to see all the Switch 2 upgrades and a few surprises. Very excited to see Shimmer's story in XB3, as well as open world Kirby. YUGIOH GX AS WELL!!!!!

Actually loving the look of OOT Remake! And it's coming out the day after I land in Japan! Plus all the new Nintendo Museum stuff will be there when I visit. The game looks beautiful, yes it's a 1-1 remake, but I'm honestly not too fussed. It'll be nice with all the QOL features.
