The fair lacks local seasonal food. Corn roast is the gold standard. Grilled peach, sweet corn ice cream, apple fries and apple pies are pretty much it. Apples and corn. No cantaloupe, plums, pears, hazelnuts or walnuts. #1 in soy production but no fresh edamame, soy milk or tofu.
