A black-and-white analogue photograph of the seashore beneath a vast sky filled with sweeping clouds. The composition unfolds in three layers: a spectacle of clouds above the horizon, a dark band of sea with two people at the water’s edge, and pale sand marked by footprints in the foreground.
The sky fills most of the frame. Bright clouds stretch diagonally, separating into delicate strands and weaving into broad, feathery streaks. Their soft edges dissolve into the deep, almost black expanse above. Visible grain enhances the image’s texture, while the rich tonal range, from luminous white through subtle greys to dense black, gives the sky remarkable depth.
On the right, two small figures with walking poles stand facing the sea. The calm water and straight horizon balance the movement of the clouds. Footprints lead the eye deeper into the photograph, towards the people and the open space.
There is both stillness and grandeur in this view. The two people seem tiny beneath the immense sky, yet their presence lends the landscape an intimate quality. An ordinary moment by the sea takes on the quiet power of an almost solemn encounter with nature.

A black-and-white analog photograph showing the legs of my wife, Eliza, as she lies among tall grasses. Her face remains outside the frame. At the bottom, the light fabric of her dress falls into soft folds, revealing her legs: one is raised almost vertically, its bare foot set against the bright sky; the other is bent at the knee, with the foot extending to the left, close to the lens. Its blurred outline gives the image a spontaneous quality, as though the photograph has caught a moment of carefree movement.
Blades of grass, small flowers and long seed heads intertwine around her body. The darker, dense vegetation in the lower part of the frame gradually gives way to an almost white sky, across which individual stems trace delicate lines. The smoothness of her skin and the light fabric contrasts with the rough, restless texture of the meadow. Visible grain and soft greys lend the image a dreamy quality, evoking the memory of a warm day. There is intimacy, subtle sensuality and a hint of mischief in this scene. Her raised legs bring the lightness of carefree play, while the closeness of the grasses makes it almost possible to feel their touch against the skin.

An analog photograph of a waterlogged patch of woodland. In the lower part of the frame, dark, still water forms an irregular mirror, reflecting trunks, branches, and bright glimpses of sky. Tiny plants cover parts of its surface. Tufts of long grass, ferns, and low shrubs line its edges. On the left, a fallen, moss-covered trunk leans over the water, drawing the eye deeper into the image.
Large trunks with deeply furrowed bark dominate the right side, leaning slightly toward the centre. Together with the trees on the left, they naturally frame the brighter woodland beyond. Slender branches cross the scene, while successive layers of leaves and distant trees create depth. Diffused light filters through the canopy, particularly in the upper left of the photograph.
The colours are muted: greens range from the olive and yellowish hues of the leaves to the cooler shades of grass and moss. These are accompanied by the dark browns of the water and the bluish-grey tones of the bark. Fine grain and soft tonal transitions lend the photograph a subtly painterly quality. This is a quiet, slightly mysterious corner where tangled vegetation and its reflections seem to form one continuous image.

A black-and-white analog studio photograph with a soft, distinctly grainy aesthetic. The model is shown in a close, almost symmetrical portrait. She looks calmly straight into the lens, while her raised hands, resting on either side of her neck, form a frame around her face. Her dark hair is smoothly styled, her eyes are defined with eyeliner, and her expressive lips create the strongest tonal accent. Bare shoulders, a light ruffled blouse, and a delicate necklace with a small pendant lend the portrait subtle elegance. Behind the model is a dark, blurred backdrop with soft patches of light and shadow. A fragment of the wooden bench backrest is visible at the bottom of the frame. Her direct gaze and the enclosed composition create a sense of intimacy, but also a certain emotional distance.

A black-and-white analog studio portrait with a quiet, restrained composition. The model sits on the left side of the frame and looks into the lens with a subtle distance that is difficult to interpret unambiguously. With one hand, she lifts her hair, tied at the back, while two straight strands fall alongside her face, clearly defining its oval shape. Her dark lips and graphic eyeliner contrast with her pale skin, bare shoulders, and the soft ruffles of her blouse. A delicate necklace with a small pendant is visible around her neck. The right side of the image is filled with a broad expanse of dark, blurred background, crossed by irregular patches of light. A fragment of the wooden bench backrest creates a horizontal line along the lower edge. The portrait conveys composure, yet leaves the impression that an unspoken thought lies behind the model’s gaze.

A black-and-white analog studio photograph portraying the model with her eyes closed and her head slightly lowered. Her face is calm, almost motionless, as though for a brief moment she has withdrawn from the presence of the camera and turned her attention inward. Her dark hair is tied low, with two smooth strands softly framing her cheeks. Strong eyeliner and dark lips give the gentle gesture a more defined, graphic quality. The light ruffled blouse slips from her shoulders, revealing the line of her collarbones, accentuated by a delicate necklace with a pendant. The model occupies the left side of the frame, while a broad area of blurred background with bright, diffused patches extends to the right. A fragment of the bench visible at the bottom stabilises the composition. The photograph has a quiet, intimate atmosphere, capturing a moment experienced inwardly rather than displayed for others.

A black-and-white analog studio portrait with the most enclosed and introspective character of the entire series. The model sits with her eyes closed and her head turned slightly to the side. Her arms cross in front of her body, with one hand resting near the nape of her neck and the other holding the opposite shoulder. The gesture may suggest adjusting her hair, a moment of reflection, or an instinctive search for protection. The light puffed sleeves and bare shoulders contrast with her dark hair, strongly defined lips, and precise eyeliner. A delicate necklace with a pendant remains a small luminous detail at the centre of the composition. On the right, a dark, blurred background stretches across the frame, marked by soft patches of light, while a fragment of the wooden bench runs along the bottom. The grain of the image and the model’s gesture give the photograph an atmosphere of silence, vulnerability, and deep inward contemplation.

An atmospheric landscape photographed at sunset. On the left stand distinctive pollarded willows with broad, dense crowns, while the right side of the frame is filled with tall, slender trees, probably poplars, whose delicate leaves and thin branches form dark, lace-like patterns against the sky. Partly concealed between the trees, the sun casts a warm golden glow, drawing a patch of intensely green grass out of the darkness. Most of the foreground remains in deep shadow.
The upper half of the vertical frame is occupied by a sky covered with layered, dramatically shaped clouds. Their colours shift from muted blue and greenish grey to gold, amber and subtle ochre. Visible grain and slightly subdued tones give the photograph a painterly, gently nostalgic character.
It is a peaceful moment on the threshold between day and evening. A quiet spectacle of light, trees and clouds, without any grand event, yet lingering in the memory through its sense of silence, closeness to nature and fleeting beauty.

#Photography #SeaScape #StormClouds #Nature #BalticSea #AtmosphericPhotography #Tombzz

A photograph of the Baltic Sea coast just before an approaching storm. The composition is built from distinct horizontal layers: a broad stretch of wet sand in the foreground, foaming waves along the shoreline, the calmer surface of the sea beyond, and an immense, heavy sky dominating the entire landscape. On the left, low wooden breakwaters extend into the water, forming a small geometric accent against the vastness of the sea and clouds.
The waves are still relatively gentle, but their white, broken crests suggest a strengthening wind. Near the shore, the water spreads in a thin layer over the wet sand, leaving irregular streaks of pale foam. There is a sense of suspension between calm and what is about to come, as if these were the final moments before the storm.
The strongest element of the photograph is the sky. Massive, multilayered storm clouds form dramatic, almost sculptural shapes. Deep navy tones, steel greys and cold blues merge with brighter, silvery areas, giving the clouds depth and a strong sense of movement. Their visual weight contrasts with the warmer, muted browns and beige tones of the sand. The composition gives most of the frame to the sky, emphasizing the scale of the approaching weather and the smallness of the still-calm shoreline in comparison with the power of nature. The overall mood is cool, raw and slightly ominous.

Surrealist graphic created in ZBrush using PaintStop, rendered almost entirely in deep rust-red and orange tones. In the foreground stands a solitary figure dressed in a dark coat, waistcoat, white shirt, and top hat. The face is completely concealed by a black plague doctor mask with its characteristic long bird-like beak and round lenses. The figure remains still and almost ceremonial, as if observing a space that has lost its natural laws.
On the left, a massive tree trunk rises and bends unnaturally toward the center of the image. A similar distortion affects the building visible in the background. Its façade and architectural lines curve and warp, as though the entire space were being drawn into an invisible vortex. Even the light forms broad, arcing trails, intensifying the sense of movement and deformation.
Strong highlights cut through dense, almost black shadows, bringing the figure and fragments of the surroundings out of the red gloom. The warm, nearly monochromatic palette gives the scene an atmosphere of threat, dream, and undefined catastrophe. A surprising counterpoint appears high in the background: a bright rainbow. Rather than softening the unease, within this distorted world it feels strangely alien and almost unreal, like a trace of normality that no longer belongs to this place.

#AnalogPhotography #BlackAndWhite #Monochrome #VisualPoetry #FeminineMystery #ShadowAndLight #Portrait #PortraitOfMyWifeElisa #FineArt #Tombzz

Black-and-white analog photograph, a portrait of my wife Elisa, constructed more through gesture, shadow, and tension than through facial features. Elisa leans toward the camera, yet her face almost completely disappears into the deep darkness of her hair and shadow. From that darkness emerges a hand stretched toward the lens, enlarged by perspective, pale and almost luminous, with the fingers spread wide. It becomes the visual center of the image, like a sign, a spell, a gesture of defense, or an attempt to cross an invisible boundary. Her second hand rests lower in the foreground, heavier and calmer. A tension forms between them: one remains close to the ground, while the other reaches toward the viewer.
For me, this is an unconventional study of femininity, not idealized or domesticated, but more primal, ambiguous, perhaps even predatory. A femininity that does not need to reveal a face in order to assert its presence. There is strength in it, mystery, physicality, but also something elusive and unsettling. As if, beneath the surface of everyday life, another nature briefly emerged, older than words and social roles.
The soft analog blur, visible grain, and restrained tonal range strip the scene of literalness. The light does not describe the figure, but reveals only selected fragments, while the rest sinks into shades of grey and black. Grey is perhaps the most important element here, because nothing remains unequivocal. Neither tenderness nor threat, neither closeness nor distance. Elisa is present and hidden at the same time. The photograph offers no answer. Instead, it opens a dark door into that part of feminine nature that fascinates precisely because it can never be fully known.

Black-and-white analog photograph of a small boat floating on calm water at sunset. Its dark, almost featureless silhouette occupies the lower part of the frame, standing out strongly against the lighter surroundings. A chain hangs from the bow, while the boat’s reflection softly dissolves across the gently rippled surface.
In the distance, a dark line of low hills stretches along the horizon, above which the sky fades through subtle shades of gray. A small, dimmed sun hangs low near the horizon, casting a narrow vertical trail of light across the water and drawing the eye deeper into the scene. The analog grain and soft tonal transitions give the image a melancholic, almost timeless quality. The composition feels quiet and restrained, built around stillness, space, and the contrast between the heavy darkness of the boat and the luminous water and sky. The whole scene feels like a moment suspended just before dusk.

#Photography #BlackAndWhite #ShadesOfGray #Nature #Monochrome #VisualPoetry #LightAndShadow #Tombzz

Black-and-white nature photograph built primarily from subtle transitions of grey, light, and shadow. At the center of the frame stands a dandelion seed head, its bright, almost luminous sphere clearly separated from the soft, blurred background. Slightly to the right rises a second, taller dandelion, already almost stripped of its seeds. Its darker, slender silhouette balances the composition, especially against the heavier, more shadowed left side of the image. A subtle relationship emerges between the two plants, as if they represented two different moments of the same cycle.
The background is completely out of focus and almost abstract. Vertical traces of grasses and stems, together with patches of light and dark, form a soft, flowing structure that feels more like painterly texture than a literal fragment of a meadow. Thin plant forms rise through the darker areas, cutting across the luminous greys and giving the image a quiet visual rhythm.
On the stem of the central dandelion, just below its fluffy seed head, a single detached seed has come to rest. With its delicate parachute-like filaments, it resembles a tiny star clinging to the stem. It is a small but deliberately preserved detail, one that reveals itself only after a moment and adds another, almost hidden point to the compositional play.

#Photography #BlackAndWhite #Monochrome #Nature #VisualPoetry #Abstract #ShallowDepthOfField #Tombzz

Black-and-white nature photograph focused on a fragment of a birch tree. Its trunk occupies the central part of the frame and leans slightly on a diagonal. The pale, almost white bark is cracked, rough and marked by dark grooves, creating a strong, almost graphic texture. A thin branch with a few leaves grows from the trunk, while a single leaf on the right draws attention with its delicacy against the rugged surface of the bark.
The rest of the forest is heavily blurred. The vertical silhouettes of the trees dissolve into light and dark bands, becoming more a rhythm of light and shadow than a clearly defined landscape. The shallow depth of field separates the birch from its surroundings and gives this single tree an individual presence among the anonymous multitude of trunks.
The image can also be read symbolically. It becomes a story about noticing the individual among many similar presences, about a detail that suddenly stops being part of the background. Here, sharpness becomes more than a photographic technique: it marks the boundary between what is truly seen and what is merely sensed. The forest remains present, but for a moment its story gives way to one tree, one texture, and one small leaf.

Black-and-white photograph showing part of a metal fence on the left side of the frame and branches with leaves entering from the right. The bright, rhythmically repeating bars form a regular, almost undulating pattern and cast soft shadows onto the surface behind them. On the opposite side, a loose network of thin branches and small leaves spreads freely through the composition, without order or symmetry. Some leaves are sharply illuminated, while others dissolve into blur, giving the image depth and a slightly dreamlike quality. The photograph contrasts the geometric rhythm of a man-made structure with the organic unpredictability of nature. Symbolically, it can be read as an encounter between order and freedom, between boundaries and that which continues to grow, cross them, and remain untamed.

Analog portrait of my wife, Elisa, made among tall, freely growing vegetation. The colour palette is deliberately subdued, almost monochromatic, with cool greens fading into greys and muted creamy tones. The colours evoke old, slightly faded photographic prints and give the image a distinctly vintage character.
Elisa is sitting among grasses and small wildflowers, with her dress spread widely around her. The light-coloured polka-dot dress, fitted at the top and widening toward the bottom, strongly recalls feminine fashion of the 1950s. Delicate lace gloves further emphasize the styling and reinforce the retro aesthetic. Her dark hair falls softly over her shoulders. Her arms are extended in front of her, with her hands resting close together among the plants. Elisa’s eyes are gently closed, and there is a faint, almost imperceptible smile on her face. She appears calm, as if for a moment she has withdrawn from the surrounding world.
Her bright figure and the pattern of the dress emerge from a very dark background that seems almost to absorb the light. Dense greenery, deep shadows and the slight imperfections of the analogue image create a contrast with the delicacy of her presence. For me, this is not simply a stylized retro portrait. Photographing Elisa, I once again allowed personal emotions and feelings to enter the frame. The calmness of her gesture, her closed eyes and the surrounding nature make the photograph quiet, intimate and deeply personal.

Black-and-white street photograph taken on August 1, the anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising. In the foreground stands a young man wearing a stylized outfit referring to the clothing of the insurgents of 1944. He wears a light shirt with rolled-up sleeves, dark trousers, and a characteristic flat cap with a short brim. A white-and-red armband is visible on his upper arm, one of the most recognizable symbols of the Warsaw insurgents. A dark strap, probably from a bag or part of his equipment, runs diagonally across his chest.
The man is captured in motion, as if he has just stopped and turned toward the photographer. He looks directly into the lens with a serious, slightly surprised expression. His figure stands out strongly against the dark entrance of an old tenement building. Behind him are tall wooden doors set deep into the façade, partly hidden in shadow. Another person is emerging from the doorway, visible only in fragments, adding a sense of movement and everyday life to the scene. Worn plaster, stone architectural details, steps, and the cobbled street create a raw, timeless background that further strengthens the historical associations of the photograph.

Black-and-white street photograph taken on August 1, the anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising. In the foreground, two young women stand absorbed in conversation. One, seen from the back and slightly from the side, has short light-colored hair, a black dress, and a large bag over her shoulder. The other stands facing her. She has a very short haircut, a dark jacket, a plaid skirt, light-colored sneakers, and a necklace with metallic details. She looks at her companion with a slight smile. Both women are holding memorial candles.
In the background, an ordinary city scene unfolds. People pass by, someone is sitting near a bench, and behind the figures there is the light facade of a building and two birch trunks cutting through the frame with strong, graphic patterns. On the right stands a tall microphone boom with a furry windscreen, used for recording sound outdoors.
Just outside the frame is the Warsaw Uprising Monument. The candles in the women’s hands give this seemingly everyday conversation an additional meaning. These are young people who came here on this day to remember the events of 1944. Within an ordinary street scene, historical memory is quietly present, passed on to another generation and experienced without pathos, as something that still matters and remains personal.

Black-and-white street photograph taken in a park. Two older men are sitting on a bench, partly hidden among low shrubs. The man on the left, with a shaved head and short stubble, rests his face on one hand while holding a cigarette between his fingers. He looks ahead with slightly narrowed eyes, as if the conversation has paused for a moment and he is lost in thought. The other man, noticeably older, sits turned sideways with his head bowed. He is wearing a quilted hooded jacket, and his quiet, focused posture suggests that he is listening or reflecting.
A thick tree trunk cuts through the foreground, partly obscuring the two men and dividing the frame into separate areas. Dense shrubs surround the bench, while a metal fence and fragments of buildings can be seen in the background. The composition feels like a moment observed discreetly from a distance, an ordinary fragment of everyday life. Two people, a conversation, a gesture, the silence between words, and a park that briefly becomes the small stage of their encounter.

Black-and-white street photograph taken in Poland, just before the start of an LGBT+ Pride March. At the center of the frame stands a solitary person with a striking, theatrical appearance: a very light, voluminous wig, expressive eye and lip makeup, and a shimmering outfit with fringed details. They look directly into the camera, calm and unsmiling. In one hand, they hold a dark object resembling a fan.
Behind them, outside the depth of field, stretches a line of police officers in protective gear. Their dark silhouettes, helmets and shields form a heavy, almost uniform background for the brightly lit figure in the foreground.
The photograph was taken during a period of right-wing populist government in Poland, when LGBT+ people were subjected to intense political hostility and public rhetoric that opposed “people” to the so-called “LGBT ideology.” It was also a time of real aggression toward people associated with the rainbow and Pride marches. In this context, the solitary figure standing in front of a line of armed police takes on a symbolic meaning for me. It becomes an image of an individual, their identity and their right to be present, set against the cold, compact structure of the state’s apparatus of force.

Black-and-white photograph showing three sharply defined ears of grain, most likely barley, rising in the foreground. Their slender stems and long, fine awns are crisp and graphic, at times resembling delicate lines in a drawing. Each ear appears at a different height, giving the composition a sense of lightness and natural rhythm. The background is completely out of focus. Instead of recognizable plants, it becomes a soft, organic texture made of bright patches, subtle shades of grey, and darker irregular shadows. Vertical streaks and gentle tonal shifts create the impression that the entire field is moving slightly in the wind. The sharply focused ears remain still points of reference against this soft, almost abstract space.

An analog black-and-white photograph portraying my wife Elisa in a portrait that consciously evokes the style of vintage studio photography and retro aesthetics. Elisa stands against a heavy fabric backdrop, intentionally left with visible creases and soft folds, which give the scene a theatrical, almost timeless character. The light creates distinct, carefully planned shadows behind her figure, adding depth and strengthening the mood of the image.
Elisa is wearing a light, flowing dress with a fitted bodice and a full skirt. Her bare shoulders are framed by soft, puffed sleeves adorned with gathers and decorative details. One hand rests gently on the upper part of her chest, while the other falls along the dress, lightly holding the fabric. Her gestures are delicate and natural, yet they also carry something of a classical portrait pose.
Her dark hair falls softly to her shoulders and stands in clear contrast to the light dress and her face. Elisa looks directly into the lens. Her gaze is calm, attentive, and deeply personal, without a forced smile, carrying a subtle sense of closeness between the model and the photographer. The slightly grainy texture of the analog image, the soft tonal transitions, and the imperfections of the backdrop enhance the impression of a photograph from another era. This is a portrait in which retro style is only the form, while what matters most is my feeling for the person standing in front of my camera.

Black-and-white photograph taken at the Museum of Coastal Defence on the Hel Peninsula. The frame shows only a small fragment of a large, circular element of an old military machine, most likely dating from the Second World War. Instead of the whole device, the image reveals a dense structure of regularly arranged, massive metal protrusions forming successive, slightly curved rows.
The extreme close-up almost completely strips the object of its original function. Its circular form is reduced to a rhythm of repeating shapes, verticals, recesses, and short horizontal edges. Light falling from the side emphasizes the roughness of the aged metal, its small imperfections and surface irregularities, while the deep shadows between the elements enhance the sense of depth.
The central part of the frame remains the sharpest. Toward both edges, the structure gradually loses clarity, so the repeating elements begin to dissolve into the background. The shallow depth of field, tight cropping, and perspective transform this technical detail into an abstract composition built on rhythm, geometry, texture, and the gradation of light and shadow. Only the awareness of where the photograph was taken reminds the viewer that this seemingly abstract pattern is in fact a fragment of a real historical device.

Black-and-white photograph showing wet sand along the shoreline, moments after a wave has receded. The image is framed at an unusual diagonal angle, making this familiar fragment of the beach lose its obvious character and take on an abstract appearance. Fine, parallel grooves left by the water run across almost the entire frame, creating a delicate, fibrous texture. Near the centre, two small dark stones are partially embedded in the sand. Behind each one stretches a narrow channel carved by the retreating water, followed by an elongated shadow. The surface of the sand gradually shifts from deep grey on the left to almost white on the right, creating a subtle transition of light and shade. The whole image resembles an abstract drawing or the texture of a material more than a traditional seaside landscape.

About a Pelican Who Accidentally Found Himself in an Abandoned Room at the End of the World and Found No One There Who Could Explain Why He Exists #ConceptualArt #DigitalArt #AnalogPhotography #MixedMedia #Surrealism #Absurdism #Existencial #PhotoMontage […] [Original post on mastodon.social]

Black-and-white work combining analog photography with graphics created in PaintStop for ZBrush. The setting is the interior of an abandoned building: worn walls, a low ceiling, a dirty checkerboard floor and a large rectangular window closing the perspective at the far end of the room. In the foreground sits a bright inflatable pelican, completely out of place in this stark, decaying environment.
Its presence is deliberately irrational. It may be read simply as an abandoned toy, but also as a character displaced from another reality, as if it had crossed into this room from some unknown metaverse. Its inflated body is literally a form filled with air, an attractive shell whose existence depends on emptiness inside. The surreal scene offers no clear explanation, leaving the viewer to decide whether the pelican carries a meaning of its own, or whether that meaning exists only because we choose to give it one.

A black-and-white architectural photograph showing a tightly framed section of a modern building facade. Repeating vertical bands, rows of narrow windows and projecting modules create a raw, almost mechanical rhythm. The frame is slightly tilted, causing the regular lines to run diagonally and giving the static structure a distinct sense of movement. Light exterior panels contrast with dark windows, recessed sections and rectangular ventilation grilles. Soft light shapes the successive folds of the façade and emphasises their depth, while deeper shadows separate the individual segments. With no sky, street or clear point of reference, the building loses its scale and begins to resemble an abstract composition made of lines, rectangles, light and shadow. The image is defined by cool geometry, order and a consistent repetition of forms.

Black-and-white photograph of a fragment of an ultramodern façade made of glass and polished steel, with surfaces resembling chrome. The frame is filled with massive cylindrical structural elements running diagonally and intersecting at different angles. Their mirror-like surfaces reflect light, fragments of neighbouring architecture, geometric window divisions and additional metal beams, making the space appear layered and difficult to read at first glance.
Between the steel tubes, glass panels, dark frames, reflections of the building’s interior and small construction details are visible. The composition forms a dense network of gleaming lines, reflections and distortions, with almost no calm or empty areas. The strong contrast between bright highlights on the metal and the darker glass emphasizes the cool, industrial character of the architecture.
The image has been rotated by 90 degrees, creating a deliberate visual trick. Structural elements that may originally run vertically or horizontally now appear as dynamic diagonal beams. This shift disturbs the sense of gravity and orientation, transforming the façade into an abstract composition built from chrome-like tubes, glass, light and reflections.

A moody, black and white analog photograph depicting a vast, gently rolling field with a skyline of five tree silhouettes. The trees have irregular, dark crowns and trunks leaning slightly to the right, as if shaped by time and wind. Above them stretches a dramatic, dark sky filled with heavy, dense clouds. The clouds feature a dynamic, grainy texture with brighter patches on the left side of the frame, creating strong contrast and depth. The scene evokes a feeling of stillness combined with the raw power of nature and a touch of melancholy.

Analog black-and-white photograph showing a narrow Venetian canal running between the tightly packed buildings of the old city. On both sides of the water rise characteristic Venetian houses, aged and slightly weathered, with simple façades, irregular tiled roofs and dark windows. Slender antennae can be seen on the rooftops, while on the right side the eye is drawn to circular openings in the wall and small architectural details.
A low arched footbridge with a decorative metal railing stretches across the canal. At its centre sits the blurred figure of a girl, small against the surrounding architecture. Her presence adds a quiet human note to the scene. Along the left bank, several small boats are moored, partly hidden in the shadow of the buildings. The calm surface of the canal reflects fragments of the façades, the bridge and the light, though the reflections remain soft and uneven. The film grain, gentle contrasts and slightly faded greys give the photograph a nostalgic, almost timeless mood.

Analog black-and-white photograph in a vintage style, taken in the rain from a very low perspective. The foreground is filled with wet pavement, where falling raindrops, small splashes and circles spreading across a thin layer of water are visible. This is where the image holds slightly more focus, emphasizing the texture of the puddles and the shimmering reflections of light. In the softly blurred background stands an old, classically styled building with a pale façade divided by horizontal bands. Dark rectangular windows, some with small sills or decorative frames, create a quiet rhythm across the wall. On the left, indistinct silhouettes of trees, shrubs and part of a neighbouring building can be seen. The softness, grain and muted shades of grey give the photograph a nostalgic, slightly dreamlike atmosphere, like a rainy day preserved on an old strip of film.

An analogue colour photograph of a nude woman sitting beneath a tree. The image is taken from a very low angle, so her bent legs occupy much of the foreground, while her torso and face appear higher, closer to the centre of the frame. She leans back against the trunk and looks to the side, beyond the edge of the photograph. Her wide-open eyes are fixed on something outside the frame. There is concentration, alertness and a slight tension in her gaze, as though she has suddenly paused in thought or heard something in the distance.
Her long, dark hair falls freely and unevenly. Thick strands surround her face, partly covering her cheek and lips, then spill over her neck, shoulders and chest. In places, the hair almost merges with the shadow of the trunk and the dark background. Soft, subdued light gently shapes her body without harsh contrasts. The cool greenish-blue tones, visible grain, shallow depth of field and overall softness give the photograph a painterly, intimate and slightly melancholic atmosphere. In the blurred background, a second tree trunk, leaves and a fragment of bright, cloudy sky can be seen.

A black-and-white abstract photograph showing a close-up of a ream of paper viewed from the side, where the densely layered edges of the sheets are visible. Instead of forming a straight stack, the layers bend into broad, flowing waves that converge and separate like contour lines on a map or the structure of eroded rock.
The darkest area appears in the upper-right part of the frame, where the tightly packed paper edges form a strong curve and a deep shadow. In the centre, the layers suddenly fold inward, creating a narrow constriction, crack, or vertical fissure running downward. On the left, the lines are softer and lighter, arranged in calmer, wider curves. On the right, a large rounded form emerges, built from concentric arcs and partly immersed in shadow.
The light catches the individual edges of the sheets and emphasizes their rhythm, making ordinary paper resemble an organic structure, flowing fabric, or a landscape shaped by time. The entire image is built around texture, repetition, fluid lines, and subtle transitions between light and shadow.
