Only one SEC team has more players listed on the Wednesday night availability report than Oklahoma does this week: Missouri (16). The Sooners and Tigers each have a dozen players either questionable, doubtful or out. No other SEC team has double-digit players with those designations tonight.

Ryan Fodje didn’t play in last year’s game vs. Texas. He watched from the sideline as OU lost 23-6. “I wanted to go out there and kill somebody. That's what I want to do, and that's what I'm here to do this weekend." Fodje and the OU O-line must redefine their identity to have a chance Saturday.

Bill Bedenbaugh is Oklahoma’s highest-paid non-coordinator on staff at $1.2 million. Been a minute since his OLs have played to a commensurate level. Seventeen different starting combos since start of 2024. More misses than hits in the portal. As many HS signees as transfers since 2023.

Oklahoma OC Ben Arbuckle on the chance for the team (and the offense) to silent the noise against Texas after a rough opening month: "You don't like what people are saying? Do something about it. Ultimately, we get to go do that between the lines. Tough teams win. Tough players win."

Omigod, this is the most heartwarming story possible! Backpack (bear 89) is the son of the 2019 winner of Fat Bear Week, Holly (bear 435). In 2007, he injured his foot & a practice of riding on momma's Holly's back had a new meaning: he was mobility-restricted while it healed. So Holly moved him.
From DISCVR blog's Facebook page, a momma bear & a yearling cub on her back in the shallow water. I think the background has been swapped out, and I can't rule out some AI use there? God, Facebook has become the social media for AI slop : (
