#Trump is announcing he's going to run for president in 2028. Can #SCOTUS please do their damn job and shut this down before it goes much further? Absolutely unbelievable. This man is a cancer on our country.

Michael Shepard is a reasonable alternative, and I would feel comfortable with him in the seat instead of Eamonn if that comes to pass. Ryan Bowman is a good man and would be a valuable character advisor to any campaign imo, just not going to win the seat. Erika... yeah, she drank the red koolaid

Tomas Scheel for Congress @tomasscheel.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

I really like Eamonn for this seat as well. I think his background is exactly the perspective we want in Olympia.

I hope to earn that same enthusiasm every election that I am on the ballot.

This is a boneheaded decision. Whoever okay'ed this was either being paid or couldn't think further than two steps ahead. Why would anyone think it is okay for a company to vote in municipal elections, and their right to vote was based on owning land? So more shell corps = more votes.

Important work capturing the scale of the damage being done by #ICE and the infrastructure supporting them. We have seen the damage for ourselves but having the data helps prove that these are not isolated cases. Proof the human rights violations are systemic and built into the organizations.

This is unacceptable. #Microsoft were paid stewards of the user's data, and are morally bound to recover it if they are capable. Abusing the user's data by harvesting it. Abusing the user's data by losing it. Abusing the users. Reminder to have backups in different locations.

This mayor's flip-flopping on the issue infuriates me. We all deserve representation that stands up for our values from the onset, not only once it becomes convenient or politically expedient. Do the right thing #ICE #Houston #Whitmire

They price fixed almost exactly like this around 2000 so it would be no surprise if they are doing it again. Gotta make the fine/punishment harsher than what they make from the illegal act. #RAM #PriceFixing

This is why you should directly subsidize industries you mean to help instead of roundabout supporting them. It causes unintended side effects

110

Tomas Scheel for Congress @tomasscheel.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

Yes I am for repealing it and reforming, especially the overseas construction req, but I would still want to simultaneously add subsidies for USA shipyards since they are a strategic asset. The jones act hides the subsidies, this would expose them letting us debate the amount to spend on it.

Google doesn't consider fingerprinting a security issue, so its low prio to them. It's is a cat and mouse game too (find one way, fix it, find another, repeat). It should be illegal, but state actors wont care. Could mandate browsers above a certain market % treat them as vulnerabilities as well.

While serving stationed in Germany, I saw too many flag covered coffins coming home from the Middle East. A sight I wish no one would ever repeat. Behind every flag-covered coffin was a person who was deeply loved and can never be replaced. May we never forget the true cost of war. #MemorialDay
