There's only one left in my neighborhood

When I found my current cat (he wandered into my back yard at 6 months old and under 3lbs) I immediately thought he was part Maine Coon. Then I got him tested because I can't see genetics with my own eyes. Turns out I was right (13% MC, 12% NFC) but it could have just as easily gone the other way.

It's going to freeze tonight so it was time to bring in the final harvest from my raised garden bed. I may have let it grow a tad bit wild.

A 2 foot diameter bowl is overfilled with sweet peppers, with several mostly unripe roma tomatoes on the right side and several bunches of ripe cherry tomatoes in the center.

The bowl is a colorful feast of bright reds and greens with some yellow and orange spotted throughout.

Honestly, no idea. I'm a mushroom appreciator, not a mushroom identifier. Here's another couple pics, of a fully matured bunch and the gills.

#fungifriends After the recent rain in Charlotte NC, these bundles are popping up in my yard along the old root lines of a years-gone sweet gum tree.

A tightly patched cluster of about 35 brown mushroom caps facing outward in every direction so you can't see the stems. Blades of grass are sticking up in between some caps, and they're surrounded by a poorly maintained lawn. These are younger caps, smaller in size than the other picture.

Just got done riding my bicycle 12 miles from The Hague to Delft and back and it's amazing riding somewhere that cares about cyclists. This area is beautiful and ridiculously ready to get around. 10/10, highly recommend

I've been here 4 hours. Walked 6km and feel like it was nothing, and had the best Indonesian food of my life (Kopi Kopi in The Hague if you're ever here). Trolleys and bicycle lanes everywhere. Walkable infrastructure built in. This city is amazing.
