Did you know you only need a small brain to make silly little drawings?

4 panel comic:
Panel 1: pink blob guy on a table, pencil in their hands. Grey circle on a piece of paper and a glass of water on the table. They say “look here”
Panel 2: Proudly, they hold up the drawing of a grey blobby character on two stick legs up in the air. The pink blob says “I drew this!”
Panel 3: Satisfied they sit back down on the table. They now go “it’s not much, but..” The grey drawing looks a bit peeved because the drawer is calling it “not much”
Panel 4: But it’s okay, because now the pink blob is very pleased finally. He says “it came from my brain!” Holding the pencil up. The grey drawing blob is happy again, too. End well, all well!

I might have peaked with Filip's design, I love drawing him. Too bad he doesn't get much screen time in the comic. #rkrn_sk #ocs #ocsky

Yeah, I always get overwhelmed just from the thought of setting up a website from scratch and give up when I realize I have to pay for hosting with the money I don't have... and marketing yourself tenfold amounts after One day, perhaps

There's a reason us olds always say to have your own webcomic site and only mirror on hosting sites for extra reach. But I really feel for people whose comics found their audience, or their income, on Tapas. You don't get to choose where your work resonates. Fewer options=bad. Webtoon monopoly=bad.

There are parts in the dialogue that reference to chromesthesia, a lot of the story is symbolic in different ways so it's not extremely direct, just one of the elements (it's mostly because I listened to a song that gave me some visual ideas for the comic)

Gonna put this simply: My day is better because yall create. Either as illustrators, writers, coders, musicians, voice actors, performers etc. Whether you have a large multimedia project or just a little lore for your OCs you keep for yourself. The world is better because you create. <3

I can't believe we're going back to this kind of discourse but: Using references isn't cheating Using 3D mannequins and photo references is STANDARD, even for professional artists Shaming people and pushing them to draw exclusively from memory is harmful and can set back people who are learning
