I've always been told if you don't ask for help, you won't get help. I need some help. I blew out 2 disks and need surgery to remove some disk material that's pressing into my spinal cord. Thankfully it's pretty minor as far as back surgery goes.... But also beyond my means to afford. 1/3

My year is not going to plan. March my brother passed suddenly. April I blew out 2 disk in my lower back (tripping over a cat) Spent all of this month out of work. Surgery next month, more months out of work. It's very hard. Just needed to write this down. This is very very hard.

Our 15 year old cat Jamison won't leave my side this morning. I'm laid up in bed with a sciatica issue. My wife left to take the kiddo to school and Jamie snuggled right up. My little protector. We rescued her from a pipe at my work when she was a kitten. She looks mad but I think she's concerned.
