Oh well it is makerworld. I bet more than half the people there are just hobby dads or people who got their kid a 3D printer as a gift expecting everything to be super easy plug-n-play. Always complaining about the free files they’re getting as if they’re signing your paycheck.

I had very similar problems a few years ago (and it got pretty bad). I went to the doctor and they said it was costochondritis. They gave me steroids and sent me home. I got better a few days later. Chest pain is scary biz. I would see a doctor :(

Taking recommendations for parametric modeling software that isn't a million dollars a year??? (fusion360) I've been learning #Plasticity and I really like it for aesthetic designs or functional designs that don't need to be iterated.... but I need something closer to what fusion can do w/ the edits

If you design a perfect circular hole onto the side of an object and then 3d print it, odds are the circle is going to get squashed near the top. Even if you add supports. I found creating another circle a fraction of a mm just above the first and extruding both solves the issue #fusion360

Having to print 11 different tolerance tests just to narrow down the right hole size for pressure fitting a magnet on the side of an object…. This is the part they don’t tell you about designing for 3D prints lol
