Interesting to note, since the GST came into effect, I doubt income tax rates have been reduced to reflect the increases in our pay. We are paying tax on income that was considered high in 2000, but average in 2026. Like 30% tax on $1800 a fortnight?

So, Franklin D. Roosevelt had 4 terms as president. They then determined all future presidents can only serve 2 terms. Why limit a leader doing a good job that voters obviously like? Now when a president is in his second term, he won't care how he performs. Great way to promote apathy.

"Sparking fears of fee hikes"? Govt funding cannot be used towards fees- only capital works. It's completely misleading to say that cuts to funding will increase fees. If the school chooses to hike them, that's on the school not the funding cuts. Plenty of rich schools increase fees regardless.
