Todd Kirrane @toddkirrane.bsky.social · 12/06/2026I learned a long time ago that people are blind to what they don’t want to see. That sums up everyone who says ‘no one bikes here’ or ‘never see anyone in the bike lane’ etc 020

Todd Kirrane @toddkirrane.bsky.social · 10/12/2025They were cheaper so previous city staff preferred them. City Manager Augustus issued a directive to construct all new, permanent ones on concrete for longevity & ada purposes. This is now the standard that DPW & DTM follow. (Repost because of typo) 010
Todd Kirrane @toddkirrane.bsky.social · 05/12/2025The whole ‘we aren’t Boston, we don’t have as many people biking’ is pure intellectual dishonesty. Boston didn’t have as many cyclists as they did 13 years ago when they first started to build a network like Worcester is now. Same for Providence, NYC, Montreal, or any other place for that matter. 1110
Reposted by Todd KirraneJosh Boucher @jgboucher.bsky.social · 04/12/2025Re: Pleasant St/122 MassDOT redesign. I’m sick and tired of the two old lines (1) no one bikes in Worcester, let’s not add more bike lanes! (2) Worcester is unique, we can’t make it like Boston! On (1) literally people feel unsafe biking, so maybe this can change that? (2) it’s not trying to be! 1121

Todd Kirrane @toddkirrane.bsky.social · 04/10/2025Spent 17 years in Brookline working (& battling) with them when it came to Greenline improvements and their desire to install fences to cattle call passengers to their detriment. The commuter rail ops reputation is even worse. So I’m not surprised that this was their improvement strategy here. (2/2) 020
Todd Kirrane @toddkirrane.bsky.social · 04/10/2025Sadly this is nothing new for the MBTA. They always prioritize their ops over the convenience of their riders and usually shield it behind “safety” and “accessibility” claims. (1/x) 120
