How have I not seen this before!? It's silly and a tad bit cheesy at times but Jesus I loved it.

Todderov @todderov28.bsky.social · 19/01/2025

How are your 2025 releases looking? These are all released in the UK in 2025. What a start to the year. Also it's 3x for Nosferatu. I adore it.

Nosferatu for the third time tomorrow! Can't wait to see my man go absolutely ape shit yet again. Feels like this film is 2025's Late Night With The Devil.

There are a lot of benefits to teaching Film Studies. One of them is getting to watch this as part of my job, as well as introducing it to about 80% of my class who've never seen it before.

#LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched #Letterboxd @letterboxd.social Insane run of films. Might end up adding Nosferatu for a third time tomorrow/Sunday. We will see.

Thanks to Tyneside Cinema I got to see this in 35mm and I'm going to be totally normal about it. As good as The Witch. Eggers is on another level. Let's see if I can get to see it at least once more before it leaves the big screen.

Platinum number 89 is Uncharted 3. By far the most frustrating of the franchise because it's so desperate to do something different. Loved the story though and yet again, set pieces and settings were insane. Similar trophy list to before with some cool extras.

Todderov @todderov28.bsky.social · 28/12/2024

Just incredible. One of the films of the year, with one of the performances of the year.

Todderov @todderov28.bsky.social · 28/12/2024

Just because Bluesky still hasn't sorted the photo/video combo... Here's what I mean about Sully. Need to finish a level in 6 minutes and he's taking in the scenery, scratching his old arse and blocking the path. Prick.

000

Todderov @todderov28.bsky.social · 28/12/2024

🎶It's going to take a lot to keep me away from you, there's nothing that 100 slow waking Sully's could ever do!🎶 Speed runs, hardest difficulty, 101 collectibles and Sully walking like he's shat himself. No bother. Platinum number 88 Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

Cannot recommend this enough. Just clearing up some of my 2024 watches before the end of the year and gutted I didn't get to this sooner. It's funny, it's touching, it's SO well made. More of a comedy/drama that lives in a horror world and absolutely worth your time.

If you fancy ruining your day in the best way possible, Red Rooms is for you. Bleak with a capital B. An uncomfortably close look into obsession with true crime and a life lived online. Went in as blind as possible and was not let down. Top class. #FilmSky

Has anyone looked this handsome in knitwear? Second unrelated question. Is it possible for an actor in a sweater to cause a man to grow ovaries and fall pregnant? Just asking. For a friend obviously. Completely hypothetical.

000

Todderov @todderov28.bsky.social · 19/12/2024

Speaking of the Trainspotting costume department, where can I get a heel like Sick Boy's? Not to store heroin obviously, just to hide a little snack to get me through the day.

It's called fashion. Look it up.

Not content with simply using my laptop to watch a film on, Mavis decided to use it as a paw warmer as well. Weird little creature. The absolute best but still a complete weirdo.

Most watched of the year Favourite film of 2024 Some of my favourite casting ever Dastmalchian getting the leading role he so rightly deserved Double dipped on limited edition Blu-rays. Already got a Late Night With The Devil tattoo planned. Probably not the last time I watch it this year. Perfect

Todderov @todderov28.bsky.social · 08/12/2024

Ridiculous how inordinately happy 56 minutes of film makes me. Especially 56 minutes that repeatedly manages to scare the everliving shite out of me on every watch.

Todderov @todderov28.bsky.social · 08/12/2024

Spider-Man 2 for my 87th platinum. Love these games and will definitely go for NG+, maybe after getting the PS5 version of Spider-Man's platinum. Had some fun with photo mode, collected some stuff, beat up some enemies. New York looks incredible, traversal has never been better. Class 🕷️

#LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched #Letterboxd @letterboxd.social Can we all talk about how much of a good time Gladiator 2 was? Can't wait to see it again.

020

Todderov @todderov28.bsky.social · 04/12/2024

I could have already watched The Guest and then have this man knock on my door... I'm opening the door and letting him in. 10 times out of 10. Handsome bastard.

Todderov @todderov28.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

Booked in to see Gladiator 2 on Thursday. Mescal, Pascal, Washington, Quinn...

000

Todderov @todderov28.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

I've just made a stir fry (which was spot on, no complaints) but then I see this absolute behemoth of a cheeseburger being made in The Menu and I wish I'd thrown my shitty stir fry at the wall.

Todderov @todderov28.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

Platinum number 86. What an absolutely perfect game. The story of a radio host, tasked with being the 911 operator for a small town the night a serial killer is on the loose. It's a dialogue based puzzle game so even if you're not big on games, it's perfect to play. It's funny, it's clever...

Just wasted 90+ mins watching Newcastle. Absolute let down. Do you know what won't let me down in the same amount of time? Just under 90 mins of ridiculousness with Tom Atkins giving possibly the most 80s line in horror film history.

110

Todderov @todderov28.bsky.social · 29/11/2024

"Please have mercy!" "And the werewolf's like 'Fuck that I'm a werewolf' he doesn't have mercy" This film gets better on every watch. Perfect. Like nothing you've seen.

#LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched #Letterboxd @letterboxd.social Four rewatches but four great rewatches all the same. Onto the next one with Scare Me.

I feel like Mark Duplass & @joshruben.bsky.social have such an affinity on screen. They're so similar in a lot of ways, both so watchable. Can we please get them in more together? The best Creep Tape so far. Going to rewatch Scare Me again very soon.

Just finished the "Unsuspecting leading woman who's actually double hard because of her past and fucks EVERYONE UP" double bill. Great choices.

NO REFUNDS. YOUR REFUND WILL BE ESCAPING THIS DEATH TRAP WITH YOUR LIFE! IF YOU HAVE A SMALL CHILD USE IT AS A SHIELD. I love Semi-Pro. It's a powerfully underrated comedy that deserves better recognition.

Playing a horror game based on a radio station... The writers love their horror.

Platinum number 85 Animal Well Such a cool game that really tests your head at times. A beautiful game that can make you feel really clever or really thick. Absolutely loved it. Can my blob offer you a nice egg in this trying time? He has them all.

020

Todderov @todderov28.bsky.social · 21/11/2024

Newcastle Christmas market can do one. That being said, Pablo Eggs Go Bao can absolutely stay. High welfare pork, omelette, sriracha, hash brown, cheese and hash brown in a bao bun. GET IT IN YA.

010

Todderov @todderov28.bsky.social · 21/11/2024

Animal Well is all but done (two trophies) and then it's back to the Uncharted series maybe? Animal Well has been an absolute joy though. Depends what Black Friday deals PlayStation throws up.

What are your #horror underrated gems? None of the four films below had much marketing at all (that I saw) and all of them are outstanding. Scare Me in particular did something I've not seen before and blew me away. #FilmSky
