Finished my book I was ready and I really loved the tale!! I ordered the next three books right away. I’m now reading a treasure hunting adventure by Matthew Reilly called Seven Deadly Wonders!! A globe trotting, treasure hunting ADVENTURE that I can’t wait to transport myself into!! Let’s read!!

I picked up an awful lot of adventures, mysteries and thrillers full of treasure hunting, exotic locales, creatures, spies, aliens, murder and intrigue at the local Friends of the Library book sale today! I can’t wait to be transported into these worlds to escape the insanity of reality. #books

@kevinhearne.bsky.social Today I’m working on cleaning up my sunroom/reading room! We had it looking wonderful and then we took in several kittens and their mom and boy did the kittens destroy it. So I’m going to make it nice again for all of us!

@kevinhearne.bsky.social Did a little more gardening today. Added another squirrel banner where the squirrels like to eat the birds food. The banner is appropriate lol! Also, found a hook with a platform feeder in the backyard buried in vines and vegetation so I cleaned it up and gave it new life!

@kevinhearne.bsky.social I went to a local Mystic Fest today because there was an author selling his books. Said if you are a fan of Jim Butcher you’ll like this book etc etc. I bought every book he was selling and he was kind enough to sign them which he didn’t have to do. My wife bought rocks….

As I get #older, I really enjoy just staying home. Nothing beats working in the garden, a nice lunch, sitting outside reading or enjoying a hot cup of coffee or a cool drink while the birds sing. It really is enjoyable to me. I can’t stand going anywhere anymore.

I have added quite a few more feeders and baths to my #squirrel kingdom today! For Memorial Day they received a nice picnic table with an umbrella. Everyone is well fed and happy and are getting ready for bed! Happy squirrel kingdom

I’ve completed my #pollinator and #hummingbird wildflower habitat! Over 40,000 seeds used!! I used like 4 bags and box and just went to town! Most don’t grow so this should turn out lovely by July and August. I added river rock and cobble between the beds this year. Too narrow to mow.

#bicycling 92 degrees today which is unheard of for this time of the year in the Omaha Metropolitan area. It was -20 wind chills last Monday. I’ve taken the opportunity to be out bicycling the metros trail systems the last several days!Reggae in my ears, sun on my face and peace in my soul!!
