I'm getting a little tired of my voice being mistaken as a recording, or voice bot thing. Don't know if I should unlearn that, though.

The concept of mortality is starting to catch up to me these days. And I have several alarms metaphorically blaring to live better and shape up. The problem might be the slow build of dread stopping me from moving faster. Dread rhymes with lead because it's heavy.

I recently beat Tales of Xillia with a friend. It is still my favorite Tales game, but I do admit it has several flaws that I hope future entries can address. One is that the multiplayer experience is legit hurt by the link system. I hope they lean in on multiplayer be fun in the future.

Happy Year of the Fire Horse 🔥🐎! #kidlitart #lny #LunarNewYear #cny #YearOfTheHorse

Art of a young East asian girl wearing a yellow outfit and holding a red ribbon. She rides a red horse with flames for its mane and tail. A similar looking foal runs in the foreground. 5 other horses run in the background. The fire horses symbolize the year of the Fire Horse in the Chinese astrological calendar.

Important shit that I’m still trying to learn.

I am begging you. Please learn about stress/discomfort tolerance. Practice raising it. You need this to survive. If someone online can ruin your day with a throwaway comment, you desperately need to understand discomfort tolerance and consciously, systematically build that shit.
Also! Stress tolerance is such an important skill that having a learning disability in that area is a major symptom of a whole lot of other disabilities/mental illnesses! Struggling with it is a huge part of life! It sucks!
Am I saying everyone with misophonia needs to listen to chewing noises all day? No. But you need to find ways to tolerate it enough that you don't treat others like shit if they make a mouth noise near you.
No, you don't have to read the fic with your trigger tags.
But you do need to be able to handle scrolling past the tags without being upset.
It is hard! But not having it also makes you so so so easy to manipulate. That grandma is racist AF because her mom raised her to be uncomfortable around black people and she never fought that discomfort. Trans people make so many cis people uncomfortable and that discomfort turns into bigotry real fast.
Letting your discomfort dictate your actions and beliefs about things is a great way to become a terrible person.
Learn. Discomfort. Tolerance.

Got my first pk in ARC Raiders(they hit me first). Didn't record because it was a lackluster display. Something did feel a tad cinematic when I said "you have a good night" and he passed out, though. I promised a defibrillator if I found one, but I did not. Just don't be a jerk, friend.

Listening to Blue Moon by Ayaka and I noticed Spotify had the lyrics. And, after nearly 260 days of learning Japanese 3-5 minutes a day, I can read some of the lyrics. I'm actually crying right now. Something so out of reach for so long just suddenly feels understood. It's a lot.

I gave The First Descendant a good 20 hours and I think I can safely say, as someone who enjoys many a thing, that this game is lacking in a few too many areas to get the most joy out of it. It's not a bad game, honestly. But I feel more enjoyment elsewhere.
