As a composer for videogames, a golf game nerd, and a Konami game fan, this is the coolest shit ever. Game music CDs are the best.

Acquired: Taito’s Gun Lock and Namco’s Nebulas Ray, two beloved shmups. 🕹️ I am terrible at both but so glad to have now. 90s shmups are my happy place

Another late evening walk, another shooting star sighting in a beautifully clear sky, and another wish placed upon the list where so many have come through already. I’m grateful for the granted wishes but there’s still so much I hope to do. 💫

I'm super thrilled to share with you that I'm the composer for Elta: Defy All Gods. I've had so much fun writing the music for this amazing game. And you'll get to hear some of it when we launch a demo on Oct. 1 on Xbox Series X|S and PS5! You are in for a ride. WOO!

Reunited with an old friend, one of my favorite synthesizers of all time, the Yamaha SY77 I picked this up from the guy in LA and it looks fantastic for something 37 years old. Of course it sounds like so many songs that I’ve loved forever. I’m looking forward to using it in my work.

A joy only a synth nerd could love: menus and UI from 2003 on this amazing instrument. Always wanted a Roland V-Synth. Very excited to finally have one.

I am happy to introduce you to the newest member of my family, Cordelia the Corgi. Cordi is the sweetest puppy you'll meet. She loves her big bro CoCo Ichi & is excited about everything. While nothing would ever replace my beloved Yuki, Cordi is from the same breeder and has the same sweet nature.

🦋I had the honor of singing the OP of Mahou Arms, a magical girls indie game releasing July 27th! The track is composed by vgm legend @dalenorthmusic.com and I'm happy to finally share it because this song is sooo beautiful. « If only you could hear my voice calling out beyond the sky... »

Absolutely thrilled to write and produce this song and work with Pernelle on it. It came out so beautifully. I hope you enjoy and I hope you are ready for Mahou Arms when it releases on July 27!

New synth day! Roland V-Stage 76 as I’ve almost always used stage boards as my main as more of a performer-type composer. Insanely amazing key action, the first of its type!

Anyone that knows me knows that I love to use old synthesizers in my work. But maintenance is part of the territory, and so today my beloved Yamaha TG77 goes in for surgery. It’s from 1990 but I still use it nearly every week!

After years of hunting for a good clean, working one, I finally found one of my most wanted old synths, the Yamaha TQ5. This masterpiece of late 80s design (from the famed Frog Design) is a 4op FM synth that sounds so nostalgic. I made this little demo you hear in the video with it! It's so cool! 🥹

I can already tell you right now: This game is 100% worth the purchase on the quality of the music alone. Super inspired writing, beautiful melodic sense, exceptional execution. I am instantly a fan of Morotani and Nakamachi.

I walk at night and look at the stars and listen to music and reflect on what I’ve done, daydream about what I want to. I think about my friends and loved ones and how great dogs are. The stars and moon follow along with the music, every night a fantastic show with a stunning soundtrack. 🌃

I went stargazing tonight after work like I do most every night. Tonight, Venus ,Jupiter and Mars are lined up and it’s quite the show. After 30-40 minutes of watching, I headed home. And just as I was pinning hopes on the stars like I always do, a brilliant shooting star flew by, acknowledging. 💫
