It's vibe coded, meaning any issues you run into (there will be many) while playing will never be fixed because they don't know why any of them are there

I need you to understand how amethyst medals aren't even part of the vanilla game; I'm using a community mod that adds these. There's only sapphire medals above it and is reserved for like the top 200.

I still see a lot of confusion about what decompilation, recompilation and ports are and what level of effort is involved in each type of project. It's important that people understand the difference, as recompilation took a drastically different meaning that when it was originally introduced.

We had a good thing, you son of a bitch! We had an emulator. We had ISOs. We had PSSPP on PC + Phone and it all ran like clockwork. You could’ve shut your mouth, and gotten as much social clout as you ever needed. It was perfect. But no, you just had to blow it up. You and your Claude and your Slop!

it's been really depressing the last few months seeing AI run rampant in emulator, homebrew, and decomp/recomp scenes

I saw someone posting about Nightmare and got nostalgic and remembered I had this piece! It's a collab from a while ago, the colors are by Willy, who was responsible for many of the great environment / stage art in Skullgirls 🥳 👀👁‍🗨

Just a warning for everyone, since Video Game Slopterica keeps being the most irresponsible YouTube Channel to exist these days. The Banjo-Tooie Recompilation is NOT associated with us. It is entirely AI-generated. Both Zelda: Recompiled and Banjo: Recompiled have very clear No AI stances.

The people you may have affected may not completely forget or forgive, but that's rightfully out of our control, but life moves on anyway. You've changed and are not the same person from yesterday.

Mistakes occur all the time in our life time and I think the only course of action to heal is to learn how to live with it and move on from them.
