No idea what's going on at the FT, but how is this an exclusive? It's been extensively reported in the Bosnian media for weeks (e.g. federalna.ba/puljic-trump...), and anyone on X would have seen the pictures of her visiting the RS. Good that this is being reported, but an exclusive??

This isn't anywhere near the worst effects of the devastating budget crisis UNHCR and other UN agencies are experiencing, but it is a peek into one specific corner: UNHCR's archives are no longer physically accessible due to the enormous pressure to save money.

Our take on yesterday's general elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina: little meaningful change but a reminder of Dayton's factory settings, and of the need for international partners to create the space for a new social contract to be forged, by removing the ethnic fear factor from politics.

President Vučić of Serbia has (ab)used the EU-facilitated dialogue with Kosovo to build up political capital with EU leaders by manufacturing crisis after crisis that he then helped "defuse." For too long the EU has let him get away with this.

It would appear that Huckabee did *not* say this. The point stands: this is a provocation to further inflame the situation in BiH ahead of next month's elections. (Also, nothing coming out of the Trump administration would surprise me at this point.)
