I think that what gets me most is that we had to defend against "slippery slope" fallacies to defend LGBTQIA+ against paedophilia accusations for decades, and now people are trying to use it to *defend paedophilia*. It's so weirdly tone-deaf. Thank you.

I learned via @sliderulesyou.bsky.social that the drought means spiders are dying off (and regardless of my personal feelings about them, I know they matter) so just spent a rewarding hour misting as many webs as I could find. Each time the occupant ran out for a drink. Moisten a spider today!
