I didn’t post this when it happened. I was feeling such rage that I was going to need bail if I ran into the person who did this. This is Chip. He went missing for two days and came home with his eyes filled with epoxy. Chip is doing much better after amazing vet care. realcruzancats.org #cats

Attention New England … Help Merry be rehomed! There are NO ADOPTION FEES! This beautiful, 4 year old female cat was originally rescued in 2022 here in St Croix and adopted and relocated stateside. She started to not get along with her feline brother and so she kept herself secluded. She deserves to be happy and confident! She is currently in a foster home, doing great too! BUT MUST BE ADOPTED ASAP! She is super cuddly, likes to play, but generally is just curled up near her foster mom. No medical issues, just a dislike for dogs and other cats. She is quiet, a sweetheart who needs a human and a home all to herself. Are you that person? Please email rcc@realcruzancats.org so we can talk more

It took two hours to catch little Pam. The first hour was just searching for her, then I heard a tiny mew. I answered with a momma cat sound and she popped out. We spent an hour with her climbing on the trap, chasing a laser, etc. Used the remote to trip the trap. realcruzancats.org #catsofbluesky

I never introduced little Pam. I had to use my remote release on the trap to get her. She was living in the bumper of an SUV, in a shop parking lot, 20ft from a very busy intersection. I have had her almost a month now. realcruzancats.org #catsofbluesky #spayandneuter #tnr #donate

I share this every year around this time. Don’t have a thunder shirt? No sedatives? This will work in a pinch. Even a stretchy T-shirt cut into a long strip. Fireworks are scary because they don’t happen often enough to animals to get used to them. #fireworks #dogsofbluesky
