Goodness me, Sean Steur is an incredible player #nufc

So, on Saturday Fabian Schar is going to be the only player on the bench who is over 21. That is... wild #nufc

Too many similar players doing the same things in the starting line up for this kind of game in my opinion. Nico/Miley, Wissa/Willock, Barnes/Elanga. Introduction of Fernandez Pardo, Ramsey and Steur made us more diverse and dangerous #nufc

Whatever happened to all the talk of PIF building a multi-club setup a few months back? Really an opportunity that could potentially be extremely useful for us, with our new found focus on buying and developing raw talent. We could do with a Strasbourg #nufc

Oddly enough we have probably never had as much strength in depth as we have now. Real competition for places everywhere apart from left back. Keeping everyone involved will be a challenge with no Europe #nufc

You have to give massive credit to Ross Wilson. He has really carried the future of the club on his shoulders having to totally transform the squad and coaching department. A clear plan carried out without panicking, under very difficult circumstances. Impressive #nufc

If ever there was a case of "judge us when the transfer window has closed" being right #nufc

Honestly, we could have one of the best midfields in world football in 2-3 years time. Nico - 24 Miley - 20 Bamba - 20 Steur - 18 So exciting #nufc

Last summer Ross Wilson brought in seven players at Forest in the final two weeks of the transfer window. Four the summer before that. Sooo..... #nufc

Will people be surprised if we sign a new number 9 and no 10 or RW? To battle with Osula for the centre forward position with Wissa and Woltemade the options in the AM position. Just got a feeling it may happen #nufc

I'm okay with Palhinha, if he actually wants to come. Will help our shaky defence a lot. Have to get a creative attacking player as well though #nufc

Sander Berge is the one I think we should go for. Not flashy but very underrated. #nufc

Toastieman @toastieman.bsky.social · 14/08/2026

I'm concerned about going 4-2-3-1 if we don't sign a specialist number 10. Playing Wolte or Wissa at 10 makes us too weak and easy to control in midfield. Squad is hard wired for 4-3-3, so hard to change from that #nufc

Toastieman @toastieman.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

Sooo, are we going to sign Palhinha, Danilo or Ederson? 😬 #nufc

Toastieman @toastieman.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

Finally a specialist number six. We really seem to be building a balanced team for the future #nufc

Got this weird gut feeling about Victor Froholdt to #nufc

Toastieman @toastieman.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

With so many box to box midfielders being linked - Manzambi, Nmecha, Camara - and no natural DMs, will Miley in fact be the one replacing Tonali in the number six position? #nufc

000

Toastieman @toastieman.bsky.social · 19/06/2026

Think we could ideally do something like this #nufc Pope > Trafford Ramsdale > Jouen Trippier > Doue Krafth > Seys Tonali > Stiller Willock > Camara Gordon > El Mala Murphy > Khalaili

Toastieman @toastieman.bsky.social · 16/06/2026

So, we could see Tonali and Willock leave with the likes of Camara and Stankovic coming in and Miley stepping up. I don't hate that #nufc

Toastieman @toastieman.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

We need to draw a line in the sand next season and set some clear and realistic goals that everyone can evaluate performance from. Time to stop talking about the past, blaming PSR etc. It's draining. We need to be able to look forward, not dwelling on the past all the time #nufc

000

Toastieman @toastieman.bsky.social · 01/02/2026

Don't think the problem with #nufc is Eddie Howe or tactics. The squad composition is really off. Too many runners, not enough technical players. Makes us extremely predictable and one sided. Front 6 last night all athletic and pacy but technically unimpressive. So one sided, but no alternatives.

020

Toastieman @toastieman.bsky.social · 01/09/2025

It would be absolutely ridiculous if we actually manage to get Wissa in today. The totally unnecessary chaos this double saga has caused really tells you that something is not right in football at the moment #nufc

010

Toastieman @toastieman.bsky.social · 31/08/2025

I could see Artem Dovbyk coming now. Don't really see any other relevant options in the European market that are available #nufc

000

Toastieman @toastieman.bsky.social · 28/08/2025

My God the Woltemade signing is pure perfection. Fantastic technical ability. Not many of that kind around apart from Isak and Ekitike, but we managed to get one #nufc

040

Toastieman @toastieman.bsky.social · 27/08/2025

What I like about Strand Larsen potentially signing is that he is not a "fancy name". Would much prefer him to a Vlahovic or Ramos who seem to the preference of many. He is the kind of character that would suit our team ethos well and is guaranteed to keep his toys in the pram #nufc

Toastieman @toastieman.bsky.social · 20/08/2025

Isak gifted #NUFC an opportunity to set things absolutely straight and let the world know that he will not be leaving. In an instant they shut down all the noise and speculation and only gained sympathy and support. Thanks mate, you just scored an own goal and lost.

070

Toastieman @toastieman.bsky.social · 19/08/2025

Interesting how it is only the so-called journalists who build their career and brand around the transfer window who seem to think that Isak to Liverpool will still happen. Keeping the story alive as long as possible is mainly good for their business rather than credible #NUFC

Toastieman @toastieman.bsky.social · 18/08/2025

Wonder who is on the Wilson replacement list if the Wissa deal doesn’t happen #nufc

320

Toastieman @toastieman.bsky.social · 17/08/2025

I would not be shocked if Newcastle at least tried with a massive bid for Julian Alvarez. I don't think Howe would settle for anything other than a top shelf player to replace Isak #nufc

120

Toastieman @toastieman.bsky.social · 08/08/2025

So, we want to bring in a left footed midfielder to replace Longstaff. McGinn, Rudoni now Kenneth Taylor all linked #nufc
