Went to a newly opened Costa yesterday with my mother. Was met with a disgusting, low quality *AI made mural on the wall. So regardless to say, wont be bothering with Costa anymore as they can’t be bothered to pay real artists

I think Nod Krai and Fontaine remain the most fun to explore. Won't judge the story yet till I've finished that

Lightly Toasted @toastedcheese.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Oops, I've spent so much more time exploring and doing sidequests in Snezhnaya than the main story. Was not expecting the region to be so big on launch. Really enjoy the variety of Fae folk. Still getting used to the travel methods. The cold mechanic is annoying tho

Quite honestly, imo as long as someone doesn't suddenly start reposting political things, AI, obvious things like that or mass reposting stuff, then you're pretty much safe from people having to use this feature on you.

Even tho I'm 30 I swear I still get growing pains on the rare occasion. Happening rn in my right arm and it's not fun!

Lightly Toasted @toastedcheese.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

I guess I'm also proud that most of my attacks were humanoids and in some cases, something I really never draw before. When the option to draw something much easier and simpler was there many times.

000

Lightly Toasted @toastedcheese.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

Officially done with Art fight. I managed at least 1 attack every day which I am chuffed about. I did kinda want to aim for a total of 50 attacks this year, but ended short on 47. That's okay, the main goal was to do something daily. And now my combined attack total is 69. Nice

Awawawa I revisited one of my all time favourite places in the game and got so nostalgic and reminiscent. Man.....Endwalker truly was the best, imo. I will always keep my Endwalker glamour plate around

I almost, but should’ve ended up in hospital yesterday. You know the emergency services are so fucked when they’re saying you need to go to hospital but won’t send out an ambulance and telling me when I get there I could be waiting 12 hours before I get treated

33C is the highest I've experienced, this is unprecedented for me. Also, dear Americans please remember there is actually more to the world than America and not everyone is climatised to this level of heat :)

I'm back on my annual Sefikura bs and deep into the fics. Remembering one I read last year. It was in the Smash bros universe, written really weirdly and ended up being a Sephiroth x Mario fic. I absolutely died inside

Good morning. Please, don't drop a fandom, a game you love, your stories or characters only because there are bad people here. Don't let them steal your joy! Keep creating, keep making community and be better. If you need to rest, do it on your own terms, but most people here are wonderful!

- Hotshit teens. A breed of socially enept teenagers that think they are hardcore by harassing staff and customers whilst stealing red bull and freddos Feel free to add more to my list

000

Lightly Toasted @toastedcheese.bsky.social · 04/06/2026

- Queue brainlets. Refuses to use self checkout even when there is a huge queue. Usually pays with card and doesn’t require an item from behind the tills Do I have to pay? - Old men that use the whole “it’s free“ schtick thinking they are absolute comedy gold

000

Lightly Toasted @toastedcheese.bsky.social · 04/06/2026

- Bag relier. Usually men. Buys very few items like a meal deal, almost weightless items. Asks for a bag. Has car outside, big pockets of lives around the corner - Adamantly wrong. Convinced they’re right when they are wrong. E.g man won’t believe me when I tell him there‘s a limit of 2 painkillers

Lightly Toasted @toastedcheese.bsky.social · 04/06/2026

conjuring a list of the most pathetic types of customers I get: - cold beer freaks ALWAYS grown men, legit get upset bc we don’t have beer in the fridges - Scratchcard addicts. Absolute assholes. Don’t care about holding up the queue, rude if something goes wrong, no shame about their addiction

the difference is that they weren't out there tracing the footage. they used the footage as reference to inform their choices. I myself am a huge proponent of maquettes for animating, but if it isn't passing through your brain and hand you aren't really learning

"Will FFXIV be saved" "FFXIV is saved!" It never needed saving. The increased player count shown for DT in the Keynote and the unending amount of newcomers in daily roulettes in Crystal Tower alone say otherwise. It's just people on social media/YouTube looking for drama to kick up.
