Powered through the entire batch of Ghouls I wanted done in about 3 hours, turns out batch jobs are fast when they only have a few steps. Who knew?! Also, getting my first Zealot ready, a fairly simple paint scheme but they really have some great character. Minis finished: 155

Spent the past few days absolutely obsessing over this Adept, the first model painted for the army, though I might add more blue. I've more to do for the bases and the see through plastic bits, but I'll move on for now, as I want to do a lot more with the bases than I do with my other stuff.

My life for Aiur! Finished assembling my Protoss forces, now on to painting! Starting by chipping away at any clear plastic bits, using a mix of varnish and ink to tint them and give me a better painting surface. Personally? I'm just gonna paint the pylon normally.

Chipping away at all the projects, got my adepts assembled minus their projection token, and the drop pod is slowly taking shape. Not sure if I'll do the 2nd pod straight away but it's very striking. I don't think I've seen anyone actually paint these up thinking about it. 🤔

made a little (big) sculpture yesterday for a friend who was having an 'exhibition birthday party', it's all one piece of chicken wire about 3-4x? life size. it's called Incomplete Self-Portrait, or, Take My Hand. pretty pleased with it! you've got to make things, man.

That other Vanguard Veteran popped off, nice! Third one done, mini 143. I couldn't sleep last night either so I started a drop pod, the new ones. They're a bit rough at spots but I did what I could fixing them. Won't matter once they hit the tabletop.

My motivation to paint is rock bottom the past couple of days, but I did make the power swords even fancier on my veterans. I'm also getting my Protoss and JPIs fully assembled finally. Still not sure if I'll leave the blades as clear plastic just yet. Need to experiment on some of the sprue.
