I had a dream that I really hit it off with JackSepticEye but then I accidentally ruined things because I walked in on him and Markiplier kissing. Why dreams? Why are you making me seem like some 14 year old with a weird IRL ship?

It had a lot to do with class, age and general views about the female body and when it was “appropriate” for them to be showing skin. Ankles weren’t seen as universally sexy in every context. It was usually the ankle AND leg together.

The whole “women’s ankles were taboo in Victorian times” is largely a myth. Women’s bodies have always been strictly controlled, but ankles weren’t seen as sexier than any other body part.
