I've been waiting for these to come in for a good while and they finally did and I'm excited to make more already. I even got some that are keychains, but they're smaller so I have to print out new designs for them. Either way I made a few for myself and I plan to sell others.

I've decided to do quick illustrations for those who have donated to the GoFundMe, at least this way I feel like I am giving something back that doesn't involve finances. This is Ambroja from Ambroja's Thorns, @alisbethvale.bsky.social 's character from her novel!

Some flats! Got a little bit done for SFL this month, hoping that this weekend I'll have time to do nothing but art. Very excited to rest and just draw DX

TMTnova | Starfish Lovers @tmtnova.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

Made 12 total 3 of each design just to see how well they do at the upcoming con. If none of them sell they're mine 😈

Just a little further on this cover! The weekend plans got changed up, so I didn't get to work on this the whole weekend like I wanted, but I'm hoping to have renders completed sometime tomorrow!

Was playing Ascension with my pals last night and the suggestion of trying to breed murlocs to remain small and cute came up...and then the abomination of the murlocs pugs was born. I'm not sorry xD youtu.be/4yH189QiqWQ

I forgot that I was working on an art board this weekend for Washington Oaks State Park....so my plans didn't exactly go to plan xD but I am proud of what I spent my time doing this weekend at least. I have a whole other side to complete...so prolly the weekend after next it'll be done.

Finished at Pride today, I'm sweaty, exhausted, but honestly had a really amazing time. Got to meet some really lovely people and the community as a whole was so sweet and welcoming. Absolutely will go again...just next time I'll be better prepped for an outdoor event lol

On to commissions work as I'm finishing up some of the final renders for Last bus home. I didn't get to as much today cause I was making dinner for my MIL, but time spent doing so was worth it! @jjcomicsllc.bsky.social if you want to learn more about his story! #comics #indiecomics #art

It funny cause I was so sure I'd finish colors yesterday but my ADHD was so bad that all I did was flats 😅 tis ok means I can take more time I suppose and make it extra good.

Finished the inks for Mays postcard, finished some flats for the first LBH, and got the next postcard relatively planned out. Would say that's a good way to end the day. Btw this is inspired by the song Overboard by Sail North

Happy Mermay still! Working on something special that I'll have done during the week! Might be late but the idea came to me late so we are running with it! Also have another project I'll be finishing up soon after this for Pride!

Feels pretty good to see episodes lined up again. Excited to finish more renders so I have even more months prepped!

TMTnova | Starfish Lovers @tmtnova.bsky.social · 24/05/2026

We are 8 pages away from finishing chapter 7. I think this has been the biggest surge of energy I've had for comic-making since Chapter 2. I've got a lot of projects to work on outside of that, so renders I'm sure will take some time, but at least things are thumbed out! That always takes a while...

TMTnova | Starfish Lovers @tmtnova.bsky.social · 23/05/2026

'merica as....uh ..merica can get. I saw more of a man than I needed to see today. And yes you must suffer with me.

Oh also I managed to eek out a quick first print of @mitsene.bsky.social variant cover for the First issue of SFL. I'm splitting up the volumes and making smaller issues so they're more affordable and accessible to make as well.

Inke is done with life...I don't blame him XD

Inke looking utterly done with everything with a thought bubble that says "Gus II. Fantastic"

Finished up some thumbs this weekend and I'm really happy with how far I got with both renders and thumbs in the past week. I must have really needed the break I got or something who knows.

040

TMTnova | Starfish Lovers @tmtnova.bsky.social · 14/05/2026

Had a record of finishing 4 pages of renders in a single sitting....I think it's the meds cause I've never been able to do that xD also hella proud of this page the colors came out exactly how I wanted

281

TMTnova | Starfish Lovers @tmtnova.bsky.social · 13/05/2026

Coloring style has definitely changed to something I feel more comfortable with (and can push out quickly) but granted neither of them I really cringe at too much xD

Really proud of these panels I struggled at first with the bottom one but then I eventually got it to look how I wanted in my head which is RARE

HAPPY #webcomicday !! Starfish Lovers is a comment on the political issue of today focusing on the issues in religion and how it effects minorities. The story focuses on a closeted knight who has to travel across the sea space to redeem his past failures. The question is, is it worth being redeemed?

TMTnova | Starfish Lovers @tmtnova.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

Finished up this section of the story, excited to move on to the next scene, and I'm really glad this section didn't take as long as I anticipated! Really happy to be having Beatrice in these scenes, though, and super excited to share more of her and Kimeya as time goes on!

4-panel layout. The first panel is a close-up of Pavo's eyes; he is sweating and looks terrified; Beatrice, off-screen, is calling his name to get his attention. Second panel, Pavo leans close against Beatrice and explain's that he is just cold. Third Panel Beatrice presses a hand to Pavo's forehead. In a close, intimate scene, she looks worried and says, "Your fever might be spiking". Fourth Panel Zoomed out showing both Pavo and Beatrice in the frame. Beatrice is pulling the cart of medical supplies closer to them while Pavo slumps forward a bit. Beatrice says, "Let me check your temperature".

I don't know for sure if this is the case...but I got new meds for ADHD and uuuuh I feel like I can actually focus for once? Like I did 4 pages of flats and 2 pages of inks in a single day? And chores? I normally can't do that???

I love to hate her, thumbs are finished for the next few episodes and I'm starting in on inks. New players are entering the scene and I'm both excited and scare for what is gonna happen next 👀
