Adelina Zandrino (September 19, 1893-1994) was an Italian artist and illustrator. During her long career her work included Art Nouveau posters, "glamour postcards", WWI propaganda, painted ceramics, and religious artwork. Her early postcards are now collectibles.

German sculptor & graphic artist Dorothea Kirchner-Moldenhauer, born on 9/19/1889 (d.1968). She began to create bronze and zinc animal sculptures in 1913. In the 1920s she worked as model designer for a porcelain art workshop, where she focused on small animal figurines.

Happy International Red Panda Day! 1821 painting by anonymous Indian artist commissioned to illustrate English soldier & naturalist Thomas Hardwicke's paper about the species. It is believed to be the 1st drawing of a red panda seen in Europe, although Frédéric Cuvier published his findings first.

Ray (Rachel) Weiss & Minna Weiss Zellner, born September 17, 1889 in New Haven, Connecticut The Weiss sisters were identical twins, & both graduated from the Pratt Institute in New York. Ray eventually established her own school. They exhibited their work widely in the United States and in Paris.
