His paws, the seemingly crux of the issue, are adorned with a different set of bracelets; they look the same, except they have a blue gem as decor on the top of his paws, the chain linking to his big and little toe, which have rings. It seems there's something off with that gem tho...
Nevertheless, the King is in pure bliss, biting his lip as his eyes roll back a little, unaware of the two servants gushing in the background. A fox and a bunny, to be precise.
Bunny: His Majesty's in a good mood today...!
Fox: Yeah! Y'think It's got to do with his new anklets?
Bunny: Oh, it must be the doctor! Ever since his prescription, the King hasn't looked better!
Fox: He sure is strict with it...I don't think His Majesty has followed the schedule more tightly before?

In a different room, far away from the Kingdom, we know see what exactly tickles Areem's funny bone.

His paws look to be detached from his body, but still active and receptive to Dr. Lux's teasing strokes and skitters.
He's got the King's paws over a table in his laboratory, a screen to the side showing signals, with an additional speaker to communicate (and listen).
