i'm convinced that the only reason everything is so expensive at this point is specifically because boomers refuse to allow for change. Let me explain what I mean:
We all know that boomers basically got a free ride. They grew up in the best housing market, the best work market, costs were low, houses were cheaper and everything was a lot more simple. Now they sit here telling all of us to "pick yourself up by your bootstraps", and "work harder", but everybody's got two jobs, gets minimum wage, which is not close enough to cost of living, living with five roommates for $1000 a month. We go without insurance. so we can pay back a student loan used for an education that we can't utilize for jobs.
Yet these boomers got houses for $25,000 max and want no one to build more houses because they think it will decrease the value of their home. and then try to sell it for $1.5 million. No one can afford it. They throw a fit and then they blame Gen whatever. then they're too scared to get out of office, and they're too scared to give other people opportunities because they know it will affect them and they don't like the idea of their lives changing even a little bit. The boomer's fear of change is why we are all fucked right now, and the mere concept of death frightens them so much that they're willing to throw everybody into a woodchipper just to have their lives be how it was for 10 minutes longer.
People like me that are forced to ask for help because social security keeps saying no despite me qualifying for it have to keep feeling like shit because we don't like being a burden on anyone. We were taught by these same people not to ask for help because that would make us useless and it's so ingrained on society that everyone tries their best to avoid asking for the help they need.
Millennials have never been the problem, Gen X has never been the problem, Gen z has never been the problem.

It took my mom years to accept that I would no longer be able to have a normal life, despite the fact fact that I would prove to her with medical documents that I couldn't. It turned out all those early signs of autism and BPD and depression and gender dysphoria, and all these other things that at a
boomers own over 50% of the real estate in the US, most of which they inherited either the home or the money from their parents. Being told that if we don't go to Starbucks once a week, maybe we could afford a house is fucking insane. These people are so out of touch and live in their own little existence and are so scared to look outside the window and accept that the world around them is
tiny bit.
I don't like going on hate rants, but I'm so fucking tired of this shit. People that are 80 or 90 years old shouldn't even be in office. They're not going to be alive long enough to actually see the differences that they've caused. I hate to sound that brutal about it, but if they can play with our lives, why should I care about theirs?

Wile E seems to have gotten stuck in one of his traps, which included various springs that are tangled around his limbs, restraining him, and the bird seed he had with him spilled all over his stomach.

Roadie takes the chance and starts to eat the seed, but in the process, it tickles Wile E to Kingdom Come - which is exactly what Roadie is after as well. He's fast and determined, leaving Wile E in hysterics.

Wile E is holding a sign that says "Get off!" With a discarded "I'm sorry!" Falling from his hands, and a "I'll give you more seed, just please stop!" Long forgotten.

Anyone else ever see this Robin Hood deleted scene? The one where Maid Marian gets tossed in the dungeon for conspiring with outlaws? And also gets bound and gagged?
