Our latest science is out! And yes, it involves petting mini- horses & donkeys. The takeaway? Spending time with animals can make us feel better, but how we treat them may determine just how much we benefit in return. Press release: www.ucdavis.edu/news/just-th... Paper:
rdcu.be/VAhatWc2p4ka

You're not missing much with HG.🙂 I missed all the Marvel, X-Men and Guardians movies until kids insisted on watching Deadpool & Wolverine. Now trying to catch up on lore before Doomsday, which they want me to take them to see. #hatm

Her reassurance isn't enough, he loses the race and blames her. They break up and he stops racing cars. He takes up Surfing USA, planning a Surfing Safari. He gets the hots for Surfer Girl and invites her to Kokomo. But she doesn't go with him and his big safari summer ends up with ...

to say the real reason Barbara Ann left him. They hook up but he's noncommittal, Getting Around, def not going steady & brags on his car, overcompensating for the Honda. He brags too much and gets nervous about his upcoming race, but Rhonda comforts him, saying Don't Worry Baby. He falls for it.

So she spends the night, he gets Good Vibrations. In the morning he asks her to go with him down to the Honda shop to get his Little Honda. Our T-Bird cheerleader is horrified, not into little motorbikes, so she dumps him. He cries In My Room. Heartbroken, he says Help Me Rhonda! Too embarrassed..

[thread] I've listened to the Beach Boys way too much this summer, and I figured out their underlying story despite them releasing the songs out of proper order (haha). He's driving his 409 & Little Deuce Coupe, wondering about When I Grow Up to Be a Man. Then he meets Barbara Ann.

I read somewhere -- so 0% confidence that it's actually true -- that Gabriel Byrne thought he was Keyser Soze until he saw the full film at the premiere. Maybe they filmed an alternate ending where he was Soze? I don't know #hatm

My daughter had been saying you can't have a 'lost dog' sign at the start right between the two faces in focus, and NOT bring up a dog later. Chekhov's dog in this instance But she will always find the dog. Always. 🙂 #hatm

That's a whole rabbit-hole of why it's called battlefield and yet "You should NOT use [it] if you have a new pain" The warning "Remove the needles before getting an MRI " has unlocked new body horror possibilities too.

yeah, they obv found some spot that worked. I'm just hung up on the trees, imagining hemlock & spruce for AK, not coast oak & redwood & chaparral, but maybe they found a grove of red alder or such. More likely, they prob didn't care, like Twilight using the Columbia for a river in Forks WA. #hatm
