not to be depressed on main but sometimes i wish my dad had just simply died u know. Not had a heart attack on the 20th, on the 25th told us he wont wake up. on the 26th saying goodbye and taking him off of it, and then on the 27th finally dying after struggling off of the machines. i hate this week

as someone who hates texting and feels bad about not responding in a timely manner a lot, i would rather seem rude and make you wait longer for a response than make ai text you back. wtf.

we are 34 days from it being two years since I last saw my dad alive and 42 days away from it being two years since we took him off life support. i really fucking hate it here.

"i want the internet to know about my characters and get excited when i post art of them." proceeds to be too scared to talk about my characters.

I'm going to do something unheard of for me. I'm going to create a man character.

I left Germany in 2018 and haven’t been able to go back. I gave myself 10 years to go back home for a visit. Last night I booked plane tickets for next spring and my heart is happy.

A moodboard containing four images. The first one is an anthropomorphic lizard with blue skin who is wearing a dark blue veil and gown, decorated with silver jewelry and blue flowers. The crescent moon shines above her. The background is dark, full of stars. The second one is two blue lilies against starry night background. The third one is light blue hands with darker gradient on the fingers and with white glowing starry marks, also against starry night background. The fourth one is an eight-pointed star surrounded by nebulae and smaller stars.

A feminine character with red eyes, pointy ears, tan skin and long wavy hair—white on the right side, and dark brown on the left side. She is wearing a red dress with golden embellishments, and a back-and-red headpiece with a veil attached.

A pale-skinned woman with brown braided hair playing with magical floating pink petals in her hands. She is wearing a green dress with a brown belt and orange sash. The background is dark, full of thorns, with a bright reddish orange arch right behind the character.

An anthropomorphic lizard, Sophia, with blue spotted skin, creating a golden four-pointed star in her left hand. She is wearing a dark blue dress with long puff sleeves and golden constellation embroidery. Next to her there is a tree with black branches, blue leaves and white flowers. A purple smoke with golden particles is floating behind her.

I know that the equipment doesn't make the artist but sometimes a new program really just... makes you see things better.

As I get comfy again with it, here's some of my old art that I still like! (ft one of the first things i ever drew on a tablet way back in 2012. Still love how that eye turned out, even if i had no idea what a layer was, or how to use different brushes.)

010

Tissket @tissket.bsky.social · 23/06/2026

As part of this new art journey i'm forcing myself to do, i'm unlearning everything i thought i knew and trying something different. It's hard, but i'm not loathing every line i draw. Here's a v basic Leonie. As they all say, the time it takes to learn it will pass either way.

A tiefling with pink hair, heterochromia, and minty green horns, adorned with gold jewelry.

Tissket @tissket.bsky.social · 22/06/2026

i'm being brave? bold? stupid? and trying my hand at artfight this year and for the first time in... too long... i sat down and drew a portrait to try and just. find my place again. and i like how it's turned out.

An illustration of a woman looking offscreen clapping her hands happily. She has two small anters and fluffy animal ears. She has brown hair with purple bangs and matching purple eyes.
