Enjoying watching footage from the current Gavin Friday tour. The magnificent ‘Ecce Homo’ was probably my favourite album of 2024 and I was sad to have missed out on tickets for the London date. The ‘Caucasian Walk’ redux is so good. Amazing performer; still. Gavin’s live band are superb too.

‘Doom’ isn’t typically a genre that gets used with us. But our next single is quite likely to be a track which I can only describe as #industrial #doom #shoegaze’. 77BPM, 14 bar sequences, fuzz bass and the longest reverb I’ve ever used. Fits the new promo pic nicely.

This feels… better. Enjoying scrolling around and falling (limping*) across conversations on whether leaving the ‘other place’ altogether is a ‘good thing’ or not. I think it is. Staying there is not a case ‘standing your ground’ anymore. It’s their playground now. A negative, unhealthy place.
