Great minds Barrie - I did a 1 hr watch from Aird, NW Tiree from 0745hrs. 1 adult Pom Skua and 5 Sooties the highlights heading W & just 19 Manxies - with about 1,000 each of Gannets and Razorbills (no petrels & v few Kits etc).

Glossy Ibis have been the main feature of the last few days on Tiree. Difficult to know how many individuals there's been, but probably at least 14. This bird at Cornaigbeg showed very well in the driving rain this pm. The Baird's Sandpiper still present today too. #birdingscotland

12 Great Yellow Bumblebees recorded in 1 hour on the machair at Hough, Tiree on Sunday (13th) was the rather late peak count of the year here. Almost all were males (some very bleached) in a mixed summer for them due to prolonged wet spells after a promising start @bumblebeetrust.bsky.social

Yes, same here on Tiree. Almost too much cover this year - have manged to winkle out Barred Warbler, Lesser Whitethroat, Garden Warbler and Pied Fly so far from our front garden (pic taken today) but not easy, and might struggle with a Catharus thrush in there! 😉....
