PSA: reki does actually say his childhood friend's name out loud in the OVA, it just got missed in the official subtitles! his name is yoh (耀)! no family name, but the kanji means sparkle/shine ✨ #SK8THEINFINITY #sk8spoilers

A screenshot of the SK8 the Infinity OVA. 8 year old Reki is carrying his friend on his back.

"I'm going all out next time, so get ready, Yoh!"

Heads up that after all that they’ve pretty unceremoniously recast DW so now’s a great time to not watch the dub~

I just saw the trailer and it was such a shock. I guess a recast was inevitable but it feels so dirty of CR to do 🙁

anyway, reminder that adam's original dub voice, david wald, left crunchyroll due to years of alleged workplace abuse, homophobia and mail theft dating back to before the funimation merger, including treatment behind the scenes on sk8 that he described as comparable to his harassment by the fandom

Something about Adam letting Tadashi sleep in & not calling him out on his lie of waking up early feels like Adam making up, I guess, for his previous harsh treatment of Tadashi. Are there Adam, Tadashi, Cherry, Joe, and Shadow in this AU, too?!?! 👀👀

Screencap of the latest Sk8 OVA teaser. Reki, Miya, and Langa are dressed in fantasy medieval clothing. Reki wears black pants, a yellow tunic cinched with a brown belt with a cropped red jacket and brown boots. There's a large blue messy ribbon in his hair. He wears brown gloves as well. Reki wears black pants, yellow boots, and a large white cloak. There's a sword attached to his back. Langa wears white pants, brown knee-high boots, a blue tunic, black bracers, and brown shoulder armor on his left shoulder. He carries a quiver of arrows and a bow. All three of them stand in a rolling landscape of grass as they look towards a reddish castle built on a mountain. Clouds circle around the caslte.

An interesting detail is that Jayce uses blacksmithing tongs when using the hexcore on Viktor & when he's making hextech weapons later in the episode. By merging the hexcore into Viktor, Jayce has forged the ultimate hextech weapon. Viktor has become the weapon he protested against. #jayvik #Arcane

Jayce holds the purple glowing hexcore with a large pair of blacksmithing tongs. He aims it towards Viktor.

Jayce in his forge. He is shirtless except for white bandages around his torso and shoulders.
He holds a blue glowing hex crystal with a small pair of blacksmithing tongs before putting it into a new hextech weapon he has just built.

Jayce looks pensively forward as the fires of his forge blaze in the background.

Viktor's head is positioned forward as his body is suspended in a hexcore cocoon of goo. Organic looking iridescent patterns gather around Viktor's face, the only part of his body that is not being covered by goo.
