Merry Christmas fellow blueskyers. This impressive ancient sweet chestnut is in East Lothian 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, spotted just before Christmas 2021 when our family went to buy a Christmas tree on this farm. Unproven theory of mine that Sweet Chestnut was a French fashion introduced to Scotland by Marie de Guise.
