Pflugerville really turned out for #NoKingsDay ❤️

Flashback to 2020 when my son played #TheLastOfUs theme after we binged the devastating second game. It took him less then two weeks to learn it by listening to the song over and over.

Wow, “Eulogy” is such a touching and beautiful story about our lifelong choices and the memories they leave behind. It's essentially a two-hander, with Paul Giamatti delivering one of his best performances. It's in the top tier of the entire series so far. #BlackMirror

The final season premiere of #TheRighteousGemstones was a masterpiece of a short film. It could be a standalone story, but its inclusion enriches the rest of the series. It’s a beautifully stark origin tale of religion used as a weapon and for salvation. Bravo!

Just a little cold in Austin this morning.

It took Hitler 53 days to dismantle democracy, and it looks like Trump is doing the same. I created a countdown widget for my iPhone as a daily reminder to check in on the state of our country. 🤞

Last night's set by @kumail.bsky.social perfectly encapsulated him as a human being: thoughtful, funny, genuine, and vulnerable. So much of his heart was on display, fully open and ready to make us laugh.

Comedian Kumail Nanjiani stands on stage against a red curtain background, holding a mic and looking out at the audience.

I know it’s a cliche, but it’s true of David Lynch that he was one of a kind, and there will never be another. He was a creative genius who not only played with the form but redefined it. RIP.

It's astounding that this one man has written and directed two seasons of one of the most popular TV shows in the modern era. And he's about to do a third season. #SquidGame

I binged through the available episodes of #SecretLevel, and each one is superb. There is such beautiful work and epic world-building on display. My favorites so far are Warhammer 40k, Crossfire, and PAC-MAN.

#SkeletonCrew continues to be great. The perfect mix of child-like wonderment and adventure with dark emotional moments. I'm not sure how he does it, but Jon Watts has done it again.

The Paul Mescal-hosted episode of #SNL was solid. Every sketch had a fairly simple but funny premise, never overstaying its welcome. Paul was fantastic and musical guest, Shaboozey, brought down the house. Perfect.

Absolutely loving #SkeletonCrew. It nails that Amblin-esque whimsy and makes good on the promise made by the ending of THE LAST JEDI. Here’s hoping the rest of the season is just as good.

I'm not sure why it's getting bad reviews, but I found DUNE: PROPHECY to be just as visually and dramatically engrossing as the films. The world-building and production design are also impressive and consistent with the big-screen visuals.

Wow, the season finale to #ThePenguin was a doozy. It's such a brutal ending in a very unexpected way. And Colin Farrell should be cleaning off a shelf for that Emmy.

The funniest show on TV right now, #EnglishTeacher, just finished its first season. Give it a binge so it gets renewed. We need more smart and funny shows like this. It's able to say important things while being hilarious as hell.

Comic books were this man’s entire life. In turn he reignited my love for them. We would text all the time about the latest comic book movie or show and he would school me on the origin stories. The man knew his stuff. RIP Uncle Tony. We’ll miss you for the rest of our lives. Thanks for everything.
