Y’all don’t understand. This game broke me, but I was happy for it. It is so worth a play through. It was impressive how much emotion it could stir with short lines of dialogue. Seriously. Shoot fascists. Talk to your kid about what they’d had for lunch. Listen to music. You deserve to.

If I started a business to make phone calls for other people how many of y'all would be interested? Give me notes, I just need you on the line to say they're allowed to speak with me and I'll schedule your doctor's appointments, oil changes, call to cancel your cable.

Also good advice for texts, phone calls, hell even paper mail. It's fine to use it as an alert that something might be wrong, but don't trust links. Say you'll call them back and get your actual bank's number.

Aaaaaa!! They're here :D Gosh, please go support @noiire.bsky.social and check out their portfolio! I got these super cute, new cursor pointers for my PC and they look fantastic (and are easy to implement)! I also got versions without the cursor as emotes (highly recommend :3).

Thanks to @tincfox.bsky.social today I learned that Signal has a feature that allows you to leave yourself notes! If you click on the icon to make a new message and then click on Contacts, there will be a Contact called "Note To Self" that you can use to leave yourself messages. :D

Been thinking of anime/media with depictions of computing interfaces were more speculative and more...free? Like .Hack's ALTIMIT OS or SE's PlayOnline (haha yes this one is real, but still). Does anyone have others that stick out to them?

Reminder that they're still trying to repeal section 230 (thereby making platform holders like bsky legally responsible for content posted by their users etc etc) There is still a need for you to blow up your rep's phones on this if you enjoy being able to do things like "post" or "have an porn"

Literally the first convo I've had about Discord today with a normie, they thought it was a good idea as it'd protect kids from pdfs But when asked how they couldn't say. When explained how it wouldn't do that they doubled down on needing to do *something* because it's problem they've heard about.

Tinc! @tincfox.bsky.social · 09/02/2026

Opens Fedi:: "we need to finally get of Discord!" ::Opens bsky:: "we need to cancel nitro [again] and let them know we're angry!" Yeah, think that difference matches up.

For those who are using SAMMI and don't wanna support AI. I personally use FireBot. If you struggle with bots that have a complicated UI/UX experience. I really recommend using Firebot instead. It has support for Dual PC setups too. External plugins. All in a really friendly UI. firebot.app

Started a new file in Silksong for secret ending. But I'm getting frustrated trying to fit even the base message into this character limit, let alone threading the larger one. So post and thoughts here toot.mrah.live/@tinc/115464...

I started a new file in Silksong to work towards that secret ending. It's been fun to focus down to just what I need for the ending, making some small concessions for things that just....really reall...

It's finally 'done.' I used this a lot to experiment with new brushes and various techniques, and at some point I decided that I was going to use this as an attempt to practice overcoming perfectionism. It's bad, there are lots of flaws, and that's okay. It's finished, and that's what's important

Final Fantasy Tactics: Chronicles of Ivalice is filling me with feels. I have formative memories tied up with this game, and playing it again just opened the flood gates on all of it. The remake is gorgeous as well! ...having said that, I may switch it to classic mode at some point x3

Hi @npr.org! We worked late tonight putting together this handy pocket guide! It doesn't address road design issues, but if we're going to educate road users, we should include drivers. It's the size of a folded business card. Print it, fold it, put it in your wallet!

"How Do You Avoid Hitting People With Your Car" pocket guide. Instructs readers to Watch the Road and Slow Down. Further text humorously insists that watching the road and slowing down are indeed important.

I'm not in the habit of journaling every day, but I have journaled before. When I tried it, it helped me to process my emotions in a way that made the pain feel less intense. Want to give it a try? Get a notebook or journal and write in it what you are feeling, or what is occupying your thoughts.
